East Coast vs West Coast?
The never ending debate. I love both of them. East Coast rap told alot of stories and alot of them were dark.
But honestly, I love the west coast. West Coast rap was grimey as fuck and the beats were always bouncey. |
Hmmm.... East Coast rappers seem to be better lyrically, they have that old school underground feel most times to, rugged an raw an nice with the flow. West Coast rappers lyrics are real simple some times but the delivery and sound with the bouncy beats is dope, they also have some good story tellers.
I like a little of both but Id properly give it to East Coast. |
nobodys fuckin with the East Coast, and nobody ever will
here's some east coast rappers for ya Nas, Jay-Z, Pac top that list b |
We won a long time ago.

Growing up on the West Coast, I've got to say West Coast.
They brought fucking classics man. That's not to say I don't give mad props to the East Coast and most of my favorite rappers are from there but there's just something about Cali beats and lyrics that give you a different feeling. I just couldn't really identify with Big L spitting about 139 & Lenox, Nas spitting about Queensbridge, Jay talking about Marcy, etc. I understand poverty especially coming from the 3rd World but I just didn't know those blocks or those areas like that. I was just listening to Shook Ones lol |
East coast because we have Godbody
