Set-up Battling

There's been a lot of controversy I'm noticing about this site. ''Who's sending'' seems to be one of the biggest ones around. Why not implement a way to battle regularly in a tournament format? Basically, both post and whatever the date's set-for the battle's revealed. And if one fails to meet the deadline, the other receives a W or.. the other receives points or infractions, if they build-up to a certain point they are punished. Idk, I just feel this would solve a lot of BS.

The whole who sending first thing is just an excuse for them not really wanting to battle but just talk smack infront of everyone they can do blind drops on the spot... simple

Except me. I responded to Bnas within 24 hrs. But ya this is only an issue with oldheads and goats really, like @Jason , i'm past that now so no offence lol. This doesn't have enough demand to really need to be coded.

I also had an idea relating to this somewhat, maybe it would work out better if a person can only send a battle to the other if the other is online at the same time. The only thing is, though, if the person still doesn't respond, the battle still sits (so they won't have to worry about their bars gettin took) they just can't respond to it after it has reached a certain deadline. Yeah, they should have deadline periods. I have no idea if that's a possible thing to do, but this would keep battles from not getting slept on.

Sending/receiving is just stupid to begin with. Why wouldn't every battle just be a blind? The receiver gets 3 days to study the other's bar and top them lol. To me, that seems unfair anyway you put it.

True.

Because flipping is so frowned upon now that it has been disallowed in every organized tournament, as a result, people as a habit usually do not flip it is obsolete.

But still, you get 3 days to look at someone's bar and try to make more polished and more complex lines lol. No battle is like that in real life, imagine if a live battle got someone's bars 3 days ahead. He'd wreck them.

That's what I'm saying, they should have deadlines, and in order for a person to send to the other, the other has to be online at the same time.

If flipping isn't allowed I don't see why it makes a difference. If you are the type of person who just wants to barely do enough to win that says a lot about your character and will to elevate. Basically, the mindset of a sniper. People should be bringing all they got every battle.
