Feedback on Bars
 

What do you think about asking other people to give you feedback on some bars BEFORE the bars have been posted or used in a battle? Does it make a difference if the person being asked is in the same crew or in another crew meaning they are a potential voter? Have you ever been asked for a pre-post feedback on bars by someone who was NOT in your crew? Did you ever go back and vote on the battle where they used the bars they crafted with the help of your feedback?

I feel like this site is mainly used for elevation and to become a better rapper/battler. Asking for feedback in anyway (UNLESS) asking to rewrite a bar for them, shouldn't be wrong. Athletes wouldn't be better without the help of other athletes/trainers. Everyone needs someone to get them to that next level and show them their flaws. Just my opinion though.

For bars I'm planning to use in future battles, I usually seek out feedback from my own crewmates. After all, the ACs is a elevation crew. I rarely seek out help beyond my own crew. Sometimes I ask for critique from old heads outside my crew, however, It's usually bars I've used in a old battle.

I actually find it to be negative to ask someone who is a potential voter because it kind of ruins your verse for them. If I know someone's line from giving it feed, and then I read the battle, I'm a bit like "Yeah, that was dope..yesterday".

I barely write a line without getting the guys in ACs to tell me how it is and if it will work. Being non Murican makes that a necessity though.

I think asking for feedback from a crew member is ok

i dont ask for feedback from crew or others but i probably should to help sharpen my darts

i think it depends on who you ask tbh,if you ask someone who cant craft a bar nicely themselves then i could see tha sway potential, but at tha end of tha day it comes down to who had tha better bars regardless if you've heard ones before

I Tend To Not Really Vote On Battles If Someone Asks Me For Feedback. If I Ask For Feedback, I Ask Them Not To Vote On The Battle.
