To start, we lost a little bit of the middle of the interview. The "extra" at the end took up way more posts than I expected and pushed some of them out of the chatbox. It sucks ass, because it means the thick of the interview is a childish back and forth that doesn't really go anywhere, but I'll post it up anyways.

Interview With Punk

Erebus: The second staff member to step up to the plate, is LB's mixtape maker and current moderator Punk. Thanks for taking the time out to talk.

Punk: Fuck you

Erebus: Why are you starting off the interview like that?

Punk: EtH vs Staff.. I am a contestant correct?

Erebus: Your a Letsbeef.com moderator, not a "contestant".

Erebus: Whatever. You can be petty all you want. Changes nothing for me.

First question. We already had a discussion about usertitles on LB. A lot of people know that I'm opposed to them, but what are your thoughts on it?

Punk: I think that GC/HOF & major tourney titles are the only titles that should be allowed. But i also think that Forum tournaments/competition titles should be allowed as well. It gives our members more opportunities to win something. Everyone don't wanna depend on a Major title such as a GC or Tag Team title. We have a lots of people on this site that wanna accomplish something during their LB stay & i feel like when you have so many people willing to host tournaments in the forums, if gives them a better chance. People might just say "fuck it, i can't win shit here, ima just dip".

Erebus: Don't you think that by giving everyone a title, it could lessen the prestige of the important ones?

Punk: No because people still spend most of their time on this site JUST like any GC winner or Hall of Famer and they work just as hard.

Erebus: Don't you feel that what is important is the skill level though?

Punk: Skill level is important. People should know a major title when they see one. Heavyweight is not the only weight class LB has.

Erebus: Do you think there could be a compromise? One suggestion that I made was to redo medals, and give out secondary titles in that format. What is your thoughts on that?

Punk: Yea, but what do you mean by secondary titles? Like as awards?

Erebus: Things like gunplay tournament, jokes over bars (sorry Agonize), ULC, role play etc.

Punk: That's actually a great idea, but no one really use the awards. I'm sure if we had something nice going on with them that people would be more interested.

Erebus: My personal thought would be to make a big deal out of it, and completely erase everything we currently have in the medals section.

Moving on, what do you think of the recent mod choices? Do you believe they are the best men for the job?

Punk: I mean they are active members & i'll go with someone who's active and willing to learn before someone sortve inactive & who everyone think is the coolest shit on earth because of his accomplishments & accolades.. & as for the recent mod choices. (Of course I was a great choice) But idk what to think tbh.. I usually give them time to see what they can actually do. But i like how everyone's all after the green names. A few of our forum mods can use a little push because they are indeed slacking but no one mentions it. Our topical section, i feel is a strong part of this site and nothing is going on over there. Same with exclusive. But again, no one's looking at everything like i am. When something is wrong, i address it in the best way.

Erebus: I'm not going to get into topicals, we'd be here all night haha.

What is currently the worst thing about LB to you? I don't mean to be negative only, but nothing good needs to be improved and that's really the point of this.

Punk: i just typed a bunch of shit and it got deleted.. This chat has to be the worst thing about LB
But the cypher section being inactive because our Forum users are too lazy to use it. We can do a lot of shit with that section and we're letting it die. We'll complain that we need a cypher section when it's gone though no doubt.

Erebus: You earlier said that the basic members should be listened to more, before this interview. What did you mean by that?

Punk: Like i said for the fifth time, Yes as long as we keep pushing but we'll need the regular members and the staff to work together and everything should be 100!!

Erebus: Not yet. Do you think the basic members arent currently listened to as much?

Punk: Basically, we do this for their enjoyment and i was once one of those who shot ideas out and no one really looked at them so whenever i see someone else trying to help out by dropping their 2 cents, i have no choice but to listen.

Punk: My turn? i really only have like one question for you tbh.

Erebus: Yeah no problem. Do you want it in the interview though?
I was kind of thinking of letting the roles be reversed on me at the end of these.

Erebus: Alright, shoot.

Punk: EtH vs Staff been going on for quite some time now. You made threads, cyphers, and even got banned for a bit... but you spoke up which is a good thing. But, whenever you do, you do it your way which can get out of hand at any second. Do you think whenever you do these things, it puts a lot of pressure on the staff? Do you think what your doing is "good for business" and others will agree? Lately, all i've seen is little complaints such as LB Radio being on auto-play. Any dedicated LB member knows that you don't stomp a kid while he's down and right now, we're not in the greatest shape but we're still here. And the public shots at Staff doesn't help at all. They now have to worry about other people co-signing & letting them know how they feel as well because EtH said it was the right thing to do. (lord knows you have some fans) Sure the staff can make some mistakes but there's far more positives than negatives. If you had the chance to change LB, how would you do it?

Erebus: Well the main thing is that I'm holding the staff to the highest standards that we've had before. Askari wasn't good enough to be a mod in 2008. Right now, Askari is twice as qualified to be a mod than the majority of the site, and if anything he's just become less active than back then. I speak out about bad decisions. I don't feel that I'm doing bad, and I don't feel that having people agree is bad. If people listened, we might not be in the "bad shape" you speak of. I've posted plans on how to get new members, plans on how to get donations, improve the prestige of titles, everything. Generally, that gets brushed off because of my disagreements with mods previously. People have taken it personally and now hold it against me. These interviews allow the mods to speak out, which means YOU can be heard instead of me. Believe it or not, almost all of you agree with me, you just don't know you do until you actually hear what I'm saying. Mod SHOULD have to worry about what they are doing. We entrust them with running this website for us. If they are doing a bad job of it, we SHOULD tell them because if we don't, the site will continue to lose members, the focus will be in the complete wrong place (the radio) and we eventually will die out. I don't feel enough people speak out. I havent seen you once talk about usertitles like that before this interview. I have to draw this stuff out of people, and guys have to worry about the site staying up, instead of all being best friends and not wanting to upset anything to prevent their possibility of a mod position.

Punk: I did tho lol I harassed people all the time about titles. Just because i don't do it publicly doesn't mean i don't say what i feel. Ask NOBLE, around before i became Mixtape mod, I told him (He was Admin) That this site needed changes & how i felt about it. Trust me, i've had a talk with A LOT of staff before i became a mod myself. Now I'm just tranna fit the green coat and become a good staff member myself.

As for your comment, yes people judge my suggestions on negative stuff I have done. Sure. But at the end of the day, what does LB brass have to lose in at least hearing me out?
