Audio Question..
 
I want to get into Audio battling & things of that nature. Now would I need a mic like one from guitar center? Idk the whole setup I should have.

Care to fill me in?

dunno what guitar center is.... u need a mic... if u got a built in one try that out....will give u an idea atleast.... my mic cost like 50 bux had it for 2 years now... dont rly need much else but a mic... an pop filter.... jus gt a usb joint

My clearest audio battles came from a desk top mic, cost me like £8.

ticket had one of those 5 dollar mics...... personally my built in mac mic couldnt handle my voice when i got loud an it would crack an distort

There's the mic I use.

I got it for hearing in gaming, just turns out it's nice as fuck quality wise too.

I use a rockband mic I got like 6 years ago for anything I need to record on my pc, including battles.

^^^ Same thing I use. You don't need anything fancy from Guitar Center or anything. Go to any gaming store and tell them you need a Guitar Hero or Rocc Band microphone, it'll cost like $8.
plug the usb into your computer and wait for it to install everything automatically. You don't even really need a pop filter or anything, just hold it farther away from you when recording.
@Phil Banks why don't you actually use your Mic instead of giving tips in forums and stop duccing my battle..

If you don't plan on recording music seriously on your equipment for the purpose of distributing it then go with the $8 mic
