M.ROCK'S UNBIASED TRACK RATING THREAD
 

Ok, So I've noticed far too many subpar, mediocre, slightly above average, and straight up garbage tracks receiving 10s as ratings. There are a couple tracks on my page, even, that I myself wouldn't rate higher than an 8, be it because I know I could've done better with delivery or sound quality or just cause I didn't go all out, knowing what I'm capable of, that have gotten all or close to all 10's. all this back pattin shit doesn't make anyone improve. If anything it makes weak mcs wrongfully confident

I urge anyone who wants a TRULY fair rating of their tracks to post them in here for review. Please don't expect anything near a 10 so you don't get your feelings hurt because the purpose of this thread isn't to spare them. The purpose is to point out your flaws, if any, so you can get past them. I'd love to give out 10s but I've only heard a handful of tracks on here that would get one from me. I'm not asking for spins and rates in return. All I'm asking is that if you get a rating below what you expect, or higher for that matter, that you don't let it affect your voting in my battles in any way.

My rating will be based off the following categories: lyrical content, flow, delivery, quality and concept originality. Obviously if its a diss track, concept is n/a and I will be lenient as far as quality goes. I don't expect you to spend hours mixing a track you wouldn't push past this site

To avoid flooding the thread with more than I can handle, please limit your entries to one track per requested review

Enjoyable listen here. Production was clean. I felt that your part on the hook could be raised just a touch as I had to strain to make out what your were sayin in a couple spots. The levels on the verses were good though.

Flow was on point and the delivery went perfectly with what you were sayin as well as the beat.

Lyrically, I wasnt "wowed", but I was impressed.

concept was deep which tracks like this usually are.

My only problem is that its only 2 verses and its 4 minutes long, which equates into there being substantially more hook than lyrics. For me, songs set up with this type of format tend to drag out if youre not really really diggin the hook. Not your fault though since the beat was set up that way and you did great with what was provided producing a very solid track.

Quality was good bro. flow is original and works well with the amped delivery. solid lyrically.

More of a couple verses on a beat than a "track" but I fucks wit it. Played it about 4 times which i plan to do with all the tracks i review.

Pronunciation couldve been clearer in a couple spots. you missed a couple words in the lyrics when you said "bow on me like..." whatever you said there isnt in the lyrics and I couldnt make it out.

Overall a nice quick drop
