Anybody good with Art?
 

So I'm in a art class at my school. (I doodle every now and then so i figure i sign up) The first semester is painting, and after that we go in to drawing. We're still working with painting and, honestly, i'm horrible at it lol. The teacher even giggles when she looks at my art cause its so bad haha. Well anyways, i had to finish up a project over the weekend, and its dealing with watercolors. Problem is, you can see all my brush strokes and sloppy color transition from a mile away. Idk, but if anybody on here is a art head can you give me some tips for this watercolor shit. I know i probaly could look for help on google but I'm on this site right now sooooo.

Lol I'm not trying to get a bad grade in this John. :high:

use lots of water,and stroke your brush in just one direction,dont apply too much pressure
also while drawing,dont use the eraser much,because if you do,you will see small strands of the paper coming out when you start to paint and apply pressure

but it really depends on what you are drawing

Yah, I've been seeing small pieces of paper coming up all throughout the picture lol...
I'll try adding more water tho, i think not having enough water was my main problem.
