Why most of you will NEVER get signed..

1.Lack of creativity..
Basically, all I'm trying to say is our track side is far from original. I mean some of you have damn there everything. Flow, delivery, aggression, momentum, or whatever, but It's not cutting it. You can have the best lyrics in the world but the beat's probably corny as fuck. Theres only a few who actually can do something with the music they make but for those who go all out spending hella $$ for studio equipment/music videos with absolutely no talent at all, It's a big waste..

2.Played style..
Probably around 90-95% of the track side look for that average, typical hip hop sound. Some think telling a bunch of "growing up in the ghetto with my pistol" stories always work. I mean it depends on how you approach the track. You have to have everything +more. SO many people are far too scared to come up out of their comfort zone to try a different/new sound. When someone says "That's not my style" I never understand wtf that means. Maybe if you try something else, you'd like it instead of just jumping to decline. 9/10 times, any professional producer will tell the average rapper that he/she need to expand.. Ya'll niggas be scared to listen/use different genres cause your afraid of what people might think.. Da fuck kinda fag shit is that? lol

3.Collaborating
I honestly think is a waste of time on here.. When your collaborating, everything's suppose to be dead on, well plotted, & put together.. But no.. Here, we just find a beat, drop verses, send them to someone else to put another verse on and smile as if we accomplished something but if you listen deep into the songs, none of the shit makes sense.. Freestyles are different, not getting into that but as for tracks that you're going to put on a mixtape/album/project, it's pointless.

4.Getting a label's attention
For example, i you were a rapper/artist looking to join Roca fell records, if your music doesn't have a "roca fella sound" your chances are low as fuck. Try listening to what's being played and feed off of that. Doesn't mean jack someone's style, just start making more versatile music that any professional would appreciate. Also if your music videos suck, you have no sort of rhythm, that can also be a bad thing.. Dudes like @skinEC~RRR~ would get signed easily believe it or not.. He might have the DOPEST lyrics but he got a fresh ass mainstream sound AND he's a somewhat singer & producer.. So does @Moses Kazee & @Phil Banks minus producing on both ends..

Listen now or fail later..

Sure.. But with so many push backs, it'll take a bit for me to really start kicking into gear.. But i also got other goals as well so i won't spend all my time trying to get on a label..

Word I feel you my g, after chopping it up with some cats in atl that got signed , I think the best route would be to go independent, they got signed and don't see most of their money.. They really gettin jerked around.. Maybe we should work on our own label..that's my ultimate goal if we talkin music

True but not concurring

I appreciate one that is not hesitant to speak from the heart and spit harsh reality to some of the bubblleheads in life (cause they need it) especially today wit everytin so fuckin sugarcoated but this is obviously a no-chance business, i mean theres more chance that I dont know, the US dollar will infact not lose its Global Currency status in the next five years, than anyone makin it and anyone is better than majority of whats on Hot 97 or whereever ur livin. But whats lost in this Capitalist, Elitist, No middle class society is integrity and individuality cause we are Zombie Slaves to the dyin dollar and technology. Black thought says "more beef than broccoli-corporate monopoly-weak world economy, Stock market toppeling-mad marijuana, oxcontin and kolonopin everybody out of it""

Dont fucking change your flow or beats up if thats what defines you in your passion. If have found fullfillment, and happiness in your music or art or porn or whatever, for real not just sayin your happy but part of that small percentage of people that actually have fullfillment cause their life is filled wit passion, than dont you fuckin cater to the needs of anything associated wit "mainstream" (unless your passion is fishing and you get a chance to fish trout up in maine, in a stream obviously) continue making YOU music cause if your only in this to make a quick mil and hang out wit Drake and Two-Chains than this aint your Passion. Catch all you ladies in the mountains of Maine-Poland Springs on me....

Your passion might be music, and to lead a comfortable life through the monetary gains that would come with it.
