Has anyone seen the hotlist section on the audio side recently?.Last month was baddddd, it only had like 6-7 battles at a time on it and only 2-3 good ones..But this month its completely emptyyyyy!!..

Most of the battles are weak freestyles or recording errors that people are waiting in the cut to snipe..Then on top of that nobody votes on battles anymore..I seen a battle of mine against Wigsplit on the recently closed list and that battle finished like a week ago..that means the percentage of battles that are closing is at a all time low..

My advice to all active audio battlers, reguardless if your super dope, average or completely wack post a written battle that has some substance..Something thatll make the sniper whos about to accept your battle step up to the plate with something thats equally dope or better..


And if your one of those people who are on the site every day, try voting on 2-3 battles for the hell of it..if you see a battle with 4 votes then take 2 minutez out of your day and give it a 5th vote so it could appear on the hotlist before it disappears off the recent list...give alittle and hopefully you will receive just as much..its a very sad day when the text arena is popping like crazy and us audio heads are bullshitting..

......I dropped a battle not to long ago and was sniped by a terrible freestyle......anyways
I am personally a fan of the written format I like the substance that usually comes with it....punch after punch etc.....anyways i try to vote on battles as often as possible and my inbox is always open for pm's if u need a vote
I will also POSSIBLY be coming back and battling more regularly but no promises though...upon my return my only intent is to battle mid to top tier battlers anyways I honestly agree with the audio side being at an all time low right now.....step it up

no1 can argue with the fact that @Marty-McFly is entirely correct with everything he states in this thread. And i for 1 am going to make a conscientious effort to change my ways, in saying that lets not lose site of the fact that this site caters for freestylers like @MrGoodness, @skinEC~RRR~, myself and all the other guys who prefer to free. i myself don't generally write because i'm far from ever being proficient at it + im far to critical of my bars/metaphors. for example: i have like 7 collaboration tracks in the mix that are just waiting for me to finish them with my verse but in all honesty i am struggling to think of one bar to put on them because my thought process is so consumed with battle rapping i literally don't have one nice thing to say. ok sorry im getting off topic now but all im trying to say is that not everyone is a writer and ill be the first 2 admit that if everyone posted writtens the site would be much better "competitively" im not denying that factor, also ill be stepping well outside my comfort zone to conform with your request but i respect your opinion bruh and i shall try my best to do it.

@Nocturnalfawn ..but you actually freestyle something worth listening too..thats why i listen to your battles in the first place..sure you might win some and lose some but if you raise the freestyle bar by posting open battles then there is a strong chance your opponent will do the same..that alone will make for more views and votes..i would much rather listen to you drop a dope free open the xyz snipe a weak free open with a C- effort..me myself, i only post open writtens and snipe freestyles cuz i enjoy writing and i know someone is sitting on a dope written they are probbly scare to post and they will use it on me..

I gotta say I'm also to blame for the audio side goin to shit. I've been slacking on votes and I took 2 static battles yesterday(jus to get to 100 battles) but its still no excuse. I'm posting as many opens as I can this weekend, free n written n I suggest all us audio heads do the same. Let's get it poppin again. ~ez

Agree.. Day I get my comp back up illm be dropping almost daily battles/votes and will be trying to revive this side, marty we need that battle asap its long overdue (y)

Either way we don't just need opens, we need dope private battles too.

marty is on point with what he says,all i do is vote on people battles,,but other battles get slept on,i swear if aint a top tier cat dropping people dont really support it,,nor listen to it,,people let the beef litterally get 2 there heads,,,,
