Youtube ''Hot 16s by Eminem/Hopsin/Jokerr,etc'' and then count the number of lines.

In Audio Bars are measured on the beat.

In Text Bars are measured by punches.

I always thought bars were 4 lines before this online shit. I used to write in stanzas

Punches are measured by punches, period. A bar is a musical/time/beat measurement so the term has no place in the text battle world.

And even if you were right, for arguments sake. It is still flawed. Because say you have 2 LB bars = 4 lines. someone can have 3 or 4 punches inside those "2 bars"

You don't, you measure it by lines. Thats it. by saying 32 lines = 16 bars you're insinuating it's something that it isn't. so why bother?

Who ever gave it that label clearly didn't have the slightest idea what a bar actually is

I get the general term "nice bar" That's not what I'm arguing against. it's a loose and easy term everyone can relate to. But the L.B labeling it as 16 bars like it's an official measurement for 32 lines (when it's clearly nonsense) is wrong and confusing to some. Just call it 32 lines and be done with it, because thats all it is. 32 lines.
