After a few threads and some back and forths with RULE & Erupt I learned today that Text Battles & Topicals are a huge part of Hip-Hop...I must've been living under a rock...For so long that I've failed to see Topicals & Text Battles fall under the 4 main forms of battle rap

I always thought it was WRITTEN, FREESTYLE... BEAT, ACCAPELLA..

But it seems I was mistaken...Apparently KOTD and URL are opening Topical Battle Leagues and Text Battle Leagues...the God, as omniscient as he is...was unaware of how important Topicals & Text battles are

Which is why I'ma be in the lab the next few weeks working on my Topical mixtape. Be on the lookout for that, i'ma distribute this crack to ya'll in the form of a .pdf file

I'm deeply sorry for not acknowledging how Topicals & Text are cornerstones of Hip-Hop and battling.

Isn't a 60 second written audio more or less the same as an 8 or 16 line text battle? Point is I stopped doing text cuz that shit aint Hip-Hop either and this is a "battling" site but Text isnt battling either

If it is inform me of when KOTD and URL have text battling tryouts, and let me know when people start sellin text records. Because then I'll have to go back to doin that

@Erupt in the other thread you were babbling about doing an audio battle and when i asked you to do a LIVE one you ran into hiding and said you're studying for finals so you cant use your mic. I call bullshit.
