I personally think he has no one to blame but himself for his loss to Garcia (If that's what he's hinting at, I don't think he is) I Think he makes a pretty fair point even if others might get it twisted. He's a top brand fighter, extremely marketable, has far more many years left in him than Pac Man coming off a controversial loss to Bradly. I can't see the Mayweather fight happening now. Khans getting dragged to the Phillipines mid training just so he can be with Roach who is focusing on Pac man. I'm not saying that's why he lost but stuff like that CAN'T help his cause. So somethings got to give. I also don't think he should retire. The Americans love him because he is so gung ho and unpredictable. He can EASLY get big fights draw crowds and win titles at the top level. I don't buy he should retire for 1 second. Maybe if this was Carl Froch. Yes. Lol. As talented as he is he will NEVER draw the crowed and paying customers like Khan can. Not in a million years. What you think. |
I don't know if you noticed in the post fight interview. But he kept saying WE didn't do this right, WE didn't get that right. There is an obvious deflection of responsibility there.
I honestly believe that the reason he lost was because he went and did his own thing thinking he had it in the bag underestimating Garcia. No way Roach or any other member of his team told him to take that approach. Especially with that chin of his. That's practically a suicide only he could take on some emotional shit. |
Amir Khan Has No One To Blame But Himself, He Got Stupid In That Ring And Paid For It. It's Not Freddy Roach Period, Fight After Fight You See Khan Getting Cocky N Wanting To Showboat...He Just Happened To Pay For It Wit His Fight Against Garcia. Watching Round 1 & 2, Garcia Was Outclassed By Khan's Speed....If Khan Just Took His Time, It Would've Been An Easy Night.

Yeah I agree. I think anyone would. He completely abandoned the game plan and paid for it.
