Brand New Day
 

It's another wonderful morning and I'm grateful to be alive,
Grateful to breathe deep, and grateful to see the sky.
Cloudy yesterday, but now I'm able to see the rise-
ing sun and once again be at peace in my mind.
It's easy as pie once you get to feeling the vibe.
Just remember whenever you need it you can feel it inside.
Even when you're feeling blind, believe it to be a sign,
Cause the world is so much more than what you see with your eyes.
You can paint a panoramic photograph to throw it back
To the days you lacked weight on your shoulders to pack
And realize YOU define if your hope is in tact.
So, upgrade to email and get over the fax(facts),
Cause your heart tears apart when you focus on the past,
But it also if tomorrow is your only demand.
Pretend you're giving the pledge of allegiance, do the motion, and stand.
And remember that nothing is stronger than what you hold in your hand.


When you have a heavy heart you can lighten the load
With a magical unimaginable sight to behold.
Remember whatever the weather, shine the light of your soul
Igniting the coal of flames that could brighten the globe.
Cause likely the most impressive thing that life has engrossed
Is that the cycle can flow even despite of the woes.
As a matter of fact when you're fighting from below
Is actually when you're actively most likely grow.
We have irrational fear that once we have what is dear
We're gonna be falling off top like a bad toupe,
But instead of pessimism why can't you say
That your fortunate rewards are like a tattoo stain?
Life is like poker and the hand you play
Can hold a Royal "Flush" like a bathroom break.
So, forget the past and let it pass. Be ready to get up
And get back to a brand new day.
