Revenge or no?
 

So it's Friday night.. Just chillin in my homie's flat with his brother and a few others, drinkin a few beers n smokin a couple blunts.

5 of em walk to the corner shop.. Only to come back cut up and bruised up.

Now apparently around 10-11 dude's appeared from behind a fence n started swingin poles, blades, bricks and baseball bats around; Only 2 of my homies stayed there n stood their ground (1 with a machete n the other with no weapon)
When they come back, we all start getting ready to rush these dudes; Only to see the cops sirens flashing up and down the street, so we just chilled for the night.

So I got some names of the dudes that threatened my homies.. And I see them ALL the fuckin time near where I live.

A few Options:

When I see them, (now keep in mind there is always 2 or more of them, and i will more than likely be on my own) I can either rush them, just started swingin punches n hope I knock em the fuck out .. Or get fucked up myself. This could also mean every time I walk out my house I'll have to face them again.

Or.. I can just walk straight past them and do nothing; Knowing that they could have easily killed/done serious damage to my friend(s) if he didn't have a the machete on him.

If it was me I'd leave it. I don't know what caused the guy's to jump your boy's. Sounds to me like a pre meditated attack and if that's the case your boy's or 1 of them in the group that got jumped must have done something to cause such action. In that case chances are the reprisal (For lack of a better description) was deserved.

Even if it was just a random attack I definitely wouldn't bother confronting them, especially if you're on your own and you have family that they know in the area. You should be working to get your self away from this kind of bullshit, not get dragged deeper into it. Use your brain. You go after them on your jacksy, you won't win. Hospital, Dead, Locked Up. Family getting targeted in the street, at home.

If you are going to retaliate think up a proper plan where it can't come back on you. Don't just go wading in there fists swinging in full view cause you'll end up regretting it, 1 way or the other.

Seriously, I don't know why these dudes tried to come at my boys like they did, out of no-where :S

But im tired of letting little fags take advantage (no homo lol). Seems like this shit only happens when we're out-numbered .. (Which actually makes me think they knew we were out-numbered)
And im like 90% sure it's the same dudes that surrounded me while I was on my own, like 3 years ago.

You're right about the family situation though, I don't want some thugs runnin up in my house while my family is there.

But I also don't want these fuckers thinkin they can just go round the area like the own the place. Know what I mean?

See the thing is. You're living in Salford right? We both know full well the type of people you're dealing with here. And with that said. No matter WHAT you do in terms of getting it in with these guy's, it isn't going to dead the situation (Especially if they know who was responsible) it's only going to escalate into an endless back n forth until 1 side is either seriously fucked up/dead and the other is locked up for a long time and vice versa.

There's no straight forward way to answer this question bro, it all depends on who you are and what you're prepared to do. If you're not the type to deal with confrontation, its not your place to handle it.

That being said, if you're willing to get your hands dirty, don't do anything dumb or impulsive. Think about the situation. If your homie brought it upon himself n it was just a crew on crew scrap or revenge for ur boy knocking one of them out, that shit happens and you gotta find ur own way to deal w/ it. But if they're coming into ur neighborhood robbing & punking you, that shit cant fly.

If thats the situation think about it like this. Ur probably not the only one these new cats are fuckin with. U gotta think about ur family n shit dawg. No fuckin chance im having my family walking around with some new goonies runnin around thinking they own my block. :high:

I just hate the fact that these dudes are probly sat there thinkin "Yeh we got them shook, we could easily do it again to someone else"

What happened to the days of.. 'Let's fight, win or lose we shake hands and go have a pint after it!' Some of my closest friends and I did that ^ ... Now it's just, "You punch us, we stab you" kinda shit.

And if they can do some shit like that to my homies, then they gonna do something alot worse to someone alot weaker/helpless.

If you do anything it has to be enough to make them think twice about retaliating... If you dont make a point they're just gonna call up some homies and come back.
