Lets Beef - Battle Rap Forums - All Time Greatest Rappers?

All time?
Hmmm... its a hard one for me to actually make a top ten list. as there's so many Rapper's i listen to.

When i first started out it was all 2Pac. (as he's the first Rapper i laid ears on)
then i had my NWA faze, Dr.Dre Faze & Ice Cube faze. an as the years went on i branched out from them onwards...

but imma give it a go.

1: Nas/2Pac... both joint as #1. 2Pac got me interested in rap, was when i first started writing too. (back then it was more poetic ish tho than actual rap) Nas has kept my interest from start to finish, i've all his albums and he's one of the very few rappers that i could put on any one of his CD's and not skip threw to another track. Even the likes of 2Pac & Eminem i sometimes skip threw songs to get to one i wanna hear.

2: Eminem... when he came out at first i wasn't so sure (but im like that with a lot of new artists. but lyrically wise there's no one fucking with him. He would be first on the list but my love for rap came from the two Greats on the #1 spot, soooo. He's also an Inspiring rapper.

3: T.I.P... Have to admit when his first album came, Trap Muzik i wasn't so sure of dude. I digged his ish no doubt, but took a lil while for me to go with it. Since that tho he's been in my CD player more times than any other rapper. I be bumping T.I. like there's no tomorrow. He gets better & better tho. Another inspiring Rapper who makes me wanna write.

4: Joe Budden... not many ppl fuck with him (on a high level) granted he aint THEE most lyical dude out there, but he sure as hell is versatile with concepts. He can make any beat sound amazing, been few times i been like, you sure thats the Instrumental? lol. He's grown on me tho over the last while and seems to just be getting better and better. a worthy placement for the Number four spot. He's definitely an inspiring rapper tho. Every time i listen he gets me in the mood to write.

5: Ice Cube... aint the most lyrical dude like todays emcee's but he nice on the mic, and brings me back when i listen to his tracks. He's had a huge influence on my younger years, and brings back memories an shit.

lol there's many more rappers to many... but i can barely create a Favourite top five lol haha
