that it was a lot easier to those who were battling in 06, 07 or 08 cuz not as many lines were played back in the time. now you can't think of any good line cuz it WILL BE played. i know there's plenty of new shit to think about but just saying it's getting harder to write a verse and stay dope troughout.
but there's always someone tho, few dopes who can actually think of a good verse. & i'm talking LB only, no misunderstanding.

No seriously though...It's not the 'played lines' it's the played executions of the ideas. Just because someone else said the same thing as someone else doesn't make the angle played. I think you need to take that into consideration. There's 100s of thousands of words in the dictionary, and I'm sure this site has only seen a small fraction of them. Step the vocab and current events swag up!

Word. It's just good battling strategy imo. Know who your audience is (LB=pot smokin fornicating hip-hop enthusiasts) and find creative angles that appeal to not only the people who's giving the votes out, but also the person's head you're trying to sever as well.

but battlers who are starting to battle in 2011 also have an advantage....they get to see alot of dope spitters from the past and have alot of vets to study from..yu got ppl who can teach you multis,punches and everything cuz they been doing it for a while

agree with everyone but most of the cats just see concept and if there's anything that's said before then your line is played and doesn't punch or something..
i'm not talking about myself, it hasn't happened to me but it's what i see from some people. bullshiiiiiiiiiiiit. ex : so you're battling erupt and if you use anything about volcano eruption or any other eruption it's played, what's really sad about this that it is actually played lol.
this can happen when battling anyone. a lots of people used TNT line against me so everybody will say it's played no matter what vocab you use or execution.
