Eminem Vs Nas
Who would win in a rap battle, Eminem or nas, in my opinion it would be extremely close, but eminem could take it although nas has a chance at winning. I dont know really it would be close :confused:

Eminem would probably beat Nas in a rap battle...that's not to say he's better than Nas...but his roots are in battle rap and its more in his style whereas Nas is more of a poet...but then again, you never know cause Nas did surprise everyone with how he held his own against Jay Z

Its impossible to determine. They are two COMPLETELY DIFFRENT STYLES. once is an emcee, the other is a rapper, so their can not be just a winner, it is all opinionated. in hip hop terms using wordplays etc then eminem wins, hands down. but if were talking from a rappers perspective using mainly punchlines, i think nas would have it. but honestly, if were talking from career stand points, i like NaS more. eminem has turned into a sell out, and playing into what people want him to do and say. he's doing R&B now, and rather than doing that, nas just stayed out the recording buisness, which is not being afraid, but rather not wanting to be changed. so since it comes down to opinions, rather than true skills, NaS wins in my book.

Nas is sick lyrically he's creative and complex beyond the regions of hip hop, i don't know much about em, i never got into him, i have heard songs like "Stan", "love the way you lie", his song with Dr.Dre the one where they are trying to convince people to do the right/wrong thing, "Forever" and i heard his battle with Canibus. lyrically i say Em is nice but i don't see why he's held in such high regards and i would never compare him to Nas. can you guys recommend some song where Em is going in with no mercy, i'm not downing him, he has just never blown my mind like Canibus or Nas, when you listen to Canibus and nas you automatically know these dude are intellectual they incorporate science and current events into sick flows and lyrical methods beyond comparison, i can't yet say that about Em,

I'd say Em in a battle, although he did win Freestyle's not Writtens, and if you watch 8 mile, you think 'Does this guy know that half of these punches suck?'.
NaS is a better rap artist though. Despite the fact that he made ridiculously creative concepts for songs, but he is still prime. People say he fell off, but thats just because you dont hear of him much. Listen to Distant Relatives. Besides Del's free album thing, thats the best album of 2010. |

In that regard eminem slaughters all with ''the slim shady lp'' and ''the marshall mathers lp'', not to mention how nice he is with the flow and multi syllables. He just IS alot more entertaining than Nas and Canibus put together if you ask me, songs like 'Brain Damadge' ....'Kill You'... 'Kim' 'Drugz Are Bad'....'Way I Am'... 'Still Dont Give A Fuck'....
