Official Lockhart for mod nomination thread
With the recent removal of a mod and RULEs (understandable) inactivity it would seem were left with 1 person in charge of all the sites issues. Kiwi is doing a bang up job so far but it's a big task and another mod is in the cards. Lock is an obvious choice. As a previous mod he doesnt need to be caught up to speed or taught anything. He knows how to run tourneys, adjust vp, delete votes, detect cheaters, and all other modly things. He has also written up HOF nomination threads and is basically an LB encyclopedia. He knows the history, has studied bars, and if a dude bites a Macc bar from 2014 tomorrow Lock is the type to read it, realize something is off, call out a biter, and issue the infraction.
Heres another perk. He said he would step aside from battling to focus more on mod responsibilities and helping the site. This is great for everyone on LB not named lockhart. Lock has won pretty much every tournament hes entered in the last 3 years (except the one I beat him in). With him out of the way the rest of the site has an opportunity to grab a colored name. No shots at lock but it kind of gets old voting for him or the other guy every finals. This freshens it up. Give the rest of the site a chance bro!
And lastly, not only has lock stayed a consistent heavyweight dropping countless battles on even more accounts. Hes been an active voter the whole time. The one thing the site needs. And as a mod he will have time to devote to getting others to follow suit and vote too. The #1 biggest complaint on the site.
I actually was considering throwing my own name around as a possible mod. I've done it. Was voted best mod and member of the site. And am less inclined to battle these days but still log on consistently to keep up. I felt I would make a good mod again. But lock would make a better one. That's just what it is.
