I Dislike People

People who comment on music while not knowing shit about any of it piss me off. I’m tired of going on “rap” pages and seeing shit on Uzi, Trippie and other untalented glorified pop artists.

Shits so frustrating when you can’t even bring skill into the equation because people are so focused on “vibes” that they don’t understand what lyricism is or what it means.

The Saaxxx Baba 03-19-2020 05:26 AM

i see what you're saying and totally agree with it too but then why go on their pages man? for example dnt like something i just do not give a fuck let alone getting frustrated or anything about it.

Rowdy 03-19-2020 05:40 AM

Nah what's really ass is when you cant write a bar about the most popular topic in the world because a voter "hears about it too much offline in real life" lmao.

Have you considered that stepping aboard the scene might help?

Have you considered "My 600-lb Life"?

REZN 03-19-2020 08:31 AM

Yeah, I didn't make the weight cut, though. :(

I hate you lyrical miracle spiritual ass niggas. If it aint for you dip and find what you like. They had Biz Markie in the late 80s and 90s everything wasn't "lyrical" in the "golden era" either. Might as well look up piano covers and complain about the lack of double entendres.

Exactly, you can like different shit

Ginge 03-19-2020 12:06 PM

I think hip hop mite b da most argumentative and self hatin community, just in dat u got people makin songs to shit on other ppl that ain't got shit 2 do with dem, all Deez songs takin down mumble rap or whatever, just bizarre 2 me dat ppl getting annoyed about other rappers makin shit music, and not just retaliatin by making good shit. Imagine if fuckin Willie Nelson put out a song called Dolly Parton sucks ass, shits just weird, y b bothered by stuff u can choose not 2 listen 2, the talk of diluting da culture is a load of shit

EtH 03-19-2020 12:08 PM

As long as people are trying to act like they know about shit but you don't. I remember in uni people acting like I probably don't like rap because I didn't get Kendrick Lamar's new album or some shit.

But to pretend rap NEEDS to be lyrical is bullshit. Eazy E is a legend in rap, one of the slickest to ever do it, but dude was spitting like "The suspense was making me sick, took her panties down and the bitch had a dick".

I agree. Too much hate in the rap community on other young artists just trying to make a buck. Shits unreal.

It's because rap isn't it's own genre or culture. Wtf does NaS have in common with Lil Peep? Musically, culturally, anythingally? We're just calling this new shit rap while it's clearly on it's whole different plane, so that feeds into comparisons. Rap fans are traditionally fans of lyricism and clarity which these new guys don't have, so the traits that are being compared aren't traits these new guys give a fuck about because they aren't "rappers".

Folks are fools if they’re calling any of those guys top lyricists. That said, shit don’t always have to be lyrical to be enjoyable. Snoop wasn’t lyrical, 50 ain’t lyrical.

Imagine we did that with anything creative. Like fuck hamburgers and pizza because they ain’t hard to make or fuck South Park or the Simpsons because the drawings aren’t artistic enough.

Not a single person in music history has called Lil Peep a rapper lmao So terrible example there, bud.

If yall want some underground rap shit, Fuck wit FT HopOut, Slim 400, and Saviii 3rd

@MadVerbs and i been on a music sharing wave. Had to put him on to a few West Coast bangers

The Saaxxx Baba 03-19-2020 02:31 PM

say whatever you wanna say Cardi B is the dopest rapper ever, period !

EtH 03-19-2020 02:47 PM

Lil Peep is literally credited as a rapper.

I'm not gonna click on any of those videos Punk because to see music you like being credited as a "westcoast banger" would make me resent you too much.

Lil Peep was 99% singing his music with a Metal feel to it.. Legit Drake raps more than lil peep. Post or find 1 song of him just flat out rapping or just stick with what Wikipedia claims he is. Chris Brown is also labeled a Rapper but if you ask any person wo listens to anything besides 1 style of hip hop or whatever it is you listen to, "Who is Chris Brown?"

they'll be like

"oh you talking about the singing nigga that be dancing?"

No one checks shit like Wikipedia for artists bios and shit because half the time it be incorrect. Lil Peep Sings in damn there entire song he dropped.

You just compared Nas (Someone who's known for rapping) to Lil Peep (Someone whos known for singing).. lmfao boy..

Bape 03-19-2020 02:56 PM

so you go on rap pages and you're pissed off when you see people talking about modern hip hop? what are you expecting? loool, further more sounding good is a skill in itself.

Occam 03-19-2020 03:25 PM

Some people like what’s said some like how it’s said, but an artist makes music for an audience of one and an entertainer makes music people like. Obviously everyone is somewhere on the spectrum you just gotta decide where you want to be...to help though a true artist doesn’t care what people think of their art just that they think, and a good entertainer makes shit people like. A wannabe artist makes art they want people to like and a shitty entertainer complains that people don’t like their shit. Food for thought...I hate people too, keep making art or trying to be entertaining though StY up.

Eazy E didn't write his material.
He just rapped and recorded the verses because he knew how to flow.

So when I made a post saying "We need a new genre for these guys. Like someone like Lil Peep is being judged on lyricism and compared to guys like NaS, when he doesn't give a fuck about that stuff and doesn't make that type of music"....you say "Lmfao Peep is like NaS nigga yo" ???? lmfao boy.

Peep is next to never being judged on lyricism......... It's the outsiders that dont listen to him assuming most classify him as a rapper when they dont, and most claim hes not lyrical which they dont..

As I said above. Peep was a TERRIBLE example to use in this thread being that no one calls or complain that hes not lyrical.. Plain and simple. I dont know what you're understanding.

95% of his fanbase is rock/metal emo heads..

Using someone like Blueface, Pump, or Uzi would've been perfect examples being that they're 100% classified as "rappers" with bad lyricism.

I know for a whole ass fact that there's at least a few songs where Lil Peep just straight up raps. My favorite song by him "Switch Up" he doesn't rap at all actually.

Typical GBC/Schemaposse type flow. Sounds like $B/Pouya/Bexey. You can tell he's the first verse by his voice.
