I feel like I seen Top 10's and Top 5's for everything else... I couldnt tell you who the newest dudes are that are killin it cuz I fell off, so my list is gonna have some older heads on it but here it goes

I got a shitload of honorable mentions but these are the first names that come to mind...some are interchangeable. like E Ness, but he's the most entertaining battler I've seen so he earned a spot

01.Loaded Lux - Literally the GOAT. The only guy that can choke his entire first round and still completely murder his opponent. Even battles that the crowd say he lost in the room, he ends up winning on camera.

02.Hollow Da Don - Easy #2 pick. From 106 to smack, Hollow's been THE GUY to battle every since Grind Time.

03.K-Shine - Arguably been the best since leaving Dot Mobb. Debated that he hasn't lost a round all 2018 & probably the best performer at the moment.

04.Rum Nitty - Hands down best puncher battling today besides Ave and Twork. Not much to say here.

05.Tay Roc - Roc's beaten guy's like Hollow, DNA, and possibly Goodz. He was the top dog for years and still get's the loudest entrance reactions.

06.Tsu Surf - His name alone can promise a box office battle. Surf can easily fall away from gun bars and and the regular format to win a battle.

07.Geechi Gotti - Champion of the year for 2018 and most likely 2019. Another one of my go-to battlers. Besides Lux, he's definitely the most humble out of the bunch.

08.Nu Jerzey Twork - Twork's probably been my favourite to watch being that he brings so many new styles to battle rap. The rapping, movement, etc. Can electrify the crowd at random times and consistent asf.

09.Danny Myers - I honestly feel still don't get enough credit. Dude got some creative ass bars and can perform his ass off on any stage. First KOTD dude to come to URL and take out multiple guys.

10. T Top - Another great performer. Dudes disrespectful and gets really personal which is pretty fun to watch. when he swings he swings

Everyone is copying what Twerk is doing now. Godbody, you need to view the last yrs of battle rap cuz that list isn't that fresh. And punk, above me, your list is a bit outdated too. If you think T-Top is top 10, you ain't def watched rap battles in a few yrs.

Was going off the OP, of which I bet there's is gunplay / gangolay? Lines at least once in every verse they've ever did.

I'd prefer to have some dude tell me I'm not a blood or a crip then get into an insults match with Jimmy Carr. If I watch battling, I want to see someone get clowned and embarrassed not out gunned.

I agree with your list, I'd replace Danny Myers with DNA i think he's been the most consistent after K-shine, and maybe replace T top with Chess, i think chess has a better pen when he doesn't fuck up.

Its not that my list is outdated. It's that the top dudes out right now fucking suck. Rap battle hasn't leveled up one bit since 2013. All they do is bring friends and props to the battle to make it more of a spectacle but its gimmicky...

I'll argue the lyricism has gotten worse, and only the energy has improved

I've heard the Tay Rocs, K Shines, Tworks and they sound like clones of what niggas was doing in 2010. Bunch of dudes that yell and have gun bars. Nothing crazy about any of their pens

Rum Nitty on the other hand, he's got a pen. Bigg K has a pen.

Just a personal Top 10. Like I said I'm not up to date with all the latest battlers & new guys ...and its a personal preference list

I'm just sayin a lot of these URL rappers sound like clones...none of them are re-inventing the wheel and for it to be 2020 I could hear a lot of the same bars and set ups in 2013

The problem is this is what the fans are settling for. Geechi’s one of the best guys out right now but I just got done watching him vs K and am still smh why the crowd lost it over

That PPV was the worst PPV actually so I wouldn't stop there LOL trust me I paid for it too.. Ive also paid for the last like 5 I think? and all well worth it. They just can't host in Philly ever again. That crowd ruined every battle.

I was out after Goodz vs Cassidy in Atlanta. Getting back into business with Cassidy obviously is a money decision but giving him a few main events set battle rap back about 5 years.

5. Nitty Vs Solomon - THIS IS A FUCKING CLASSIC

4. Madflex vs A Ward - 2 of my favourites who had a possible BOTN on one of the most stacked cards of the year tbh

3. Eddy I. Vs Ness Lee - My favourite up and comer vs my favourite OG this one was crazy too.

2. Nu Jersey Twork vs Swave Sevah - Swave is one of my favs and he cooks in this one

1. Pat Stay vs Danny Myers - Possibly my favourite angles used ever by Pat in this one.

Iron Solomon murdered dude, 3-0. Didn't find anything special or impressive about Nitty.
