Don't Fuck With Cats

A+ content on Netflix right here... You might've heard of it cuz it's trending right now

Go watch....the shit is insane. Knocked out all 3 episodes in 1 sitting

Giving ya'll a summary of what it is definitely wouldnt do it justice. Its something you need to watch to appreciate

Co-Sign. This was great.

Aggo 01-12-2020 12:21 PM

Word. Scroll past it on the daily. I'll give it a look.

Was waiting for someone to make this thread. Worth the watch for sure, probably without the popcorn though.

Barzooka 01-12-2020 04:00 PM

Ight bet.

If you haven't already you should check out Altered Carbon. My first time hearing about it & watching it immediately thereafter I managed to knock out almost ten episodes in one sitting. That shit was insanely mind blowing and will absolutely keep you engaged throughout at least 99.99% of the entire season ESPECIALLY if you're into futuristic sci-fi dystopia type shit.

Neither did I. I kept scrolling past it for days thinking "I dont really care for cats, fuck this shit"...then one day I read the description and watched it

And it turned out being dope

Yo. Fell asleep on the third episode but what a ride. Great recommendation. This is right up my alley.

Anyone see abducted in plain sight? That was a crazy doc too.

I’ll check it out after this last Cats episode.

Another good one is, “I know my first name is Steven”.

This was a lifetime movie I seen a few years ago & it’s pretty good as well.

A couple of weeks ago when I thought me and Lock would face Manhattan and Rai in the tag final;

Manny entered the tag LOOKING FOR SLAUGHTER so when Rai asked you to team why would you DO HIM THE HONOUR? Don't fuck this cat, should be reFUSING THE OFFER so we were all surprised when Manny was made up...LUKA MAGNOTTA!

You know, spoiler alert and all that

Aggo 01-13-2020 10:49 PM

I had never heard that name before the documentary. Was that a thing people knew about?

Manhattan 01-14-2020 08:48 PM

I thought that it was just okay. I had a few major issues w/ the documentary. Ending definitely ruined it for me too.

- The third hand in the python video was never talked about.
- They barely talk about the guy who was actually murdered (Lin Jun).
- The fb group drove that troll to kill himself after they thought he was the one doing the cat killings.
- Spend too much time playing up Luka's "celeb" status.
- One of the interviewees trying to blame the audience that we're partly at fault...when she willingly participated in the documentary that gave him more notoriety. Sounded so pretentious trying to deflect.

It's definitely one of Canada's most infamous crimes. It was pretty well known world wide too.

Godbody 01-15-2020 10:58 AM

Eh, to address your 1st point...The 3rd hand in that video was probably the python's handler. That Luka dude used Craigslist to lure the asian dude.. Could've used it to find a snake owner for a video

He's guilty just for the fact that he was present & an accessory but its baby shit compared to what Luka did. So I wonder what happened to him, but I get why he isn't a focus

I felt terrible about the dude that killed himself. It gives you insight into the outrage/cancel culture and how you can lynch someone without all the facts.

And I think the interviewee was blaming the Facebook group, I dont think she was blaming us. Basically saying how they were his audience. How they kept solving the clues and fueling his desire for notoriety & that's what drove him to take shit to the next level. Basically if they weren't so obsessed with trying to track him as a cat killer, he wouldn't have garnered the attention he was seeking that drove him to kill a human

Ya that's the most likely scenario. The python handler was probably present and was getting paid for them putting it on the dark web. They still never address it.

I agree w/ your other points.

It's still a solid documentary as a whole. It's still not even on the same level as The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst
