What would be everyones preference on the following points:

Number of days to post
Number of days for voting
Start date
Seeded / Random Draw
Wild card placement


The template i was planning would be:

3 days to post
2 days for votes
Start Jan 4th
Seeded Draw
Wildcard cards face other wildcards in round 1

This would have the tourney closes on: Monday Feb 3rd.

Looks good. How would the Wildcards have a tougher path though? Less time to post? Gotta go an extra round?

I think having wildcards face each other in round 1 is a tougher path. Since most of the wildcards are top tier

i think days to post and vote should be swapped. everything else looks good

Hopefully the voting contest this month will provide a solid number of votes for all battles.

3 days to vote? Tah! My finals battle was open 8 days for votes. Let’s try to get a record breaking 9 days of voting

Remember to longer the voting / posting days, the longer the tourney is open lol

Y'all tryna have a 8 week GC?

2 days to vote or 2 days to post are both just a little short. Especially the posting. 3 days to me is the proper time especially given it’s a GC. I get it’ll take a long time given how many participants but hey, it’s a GC. Gotta be able to do it proper it’s the biggest tournament of them all. 2 days to post is WAY too short. If you’re too busy 1 1 day you’re left with 1 day to write a GC quality 16? Nah.

2 day voting I could see workin with heavy heavy promotion and mods/FVC badgering people to vote. Finals should still be 3 days or so in that case though

i think 2 days to post is the best. i mean, writing a verse shouldn't take that long. i'd rather have 3 days to vote to make sure each battle gets as much input as possible. i'd reckon there be no cap on days to vote, and instead, battle couldn't move forward w/o 7-10 votes.

3 Days to post. 3 Days for votes. It's a GC, shouldn't be treated as a 'right then, lets get this done and out the way'. With the amount of wildcards whom only showed up for said GC indicates that it's not something that should be rushed. If it takes longer, fine. All GC's should be treated the same as other GC's imo.
