I say let's give it a month or two and review this as an actual rule. If you asked this 1 month ago, I'd have laughed at you and said you're lucky the battle even closed. But now voting seems to be significantly improved and if we continue as such 2 months down the line? I wouldn't mind a 5 vote min with out current turnaround.

I know some text sites had a 3-0, 4-1 or a first to 5 rule... might be worth considering

I think it's a fair point, and with a new FVC rollin' out, I am optimistic voting will only continue to improve, three votes is kinda low tbh. The cash prize initiative will help voting too, so this is feasible, imo.

Okay. So it says there are 50.5% of Text battles with 3 votes, compared to 14.1% with 5. I understand that the Text side gets more compared to audio. And I also know where the 2% - 7.1% of the votes come from - Most of the major votes are on known LB members. but most battles are done by more new members compared to Known members. So how are 5 votes to close going to benefit the site? @X

Actually, since no one ever take the time to dig up facts anymore, the DedSec thread was just recently made and every link posted in it so far received votes from majority Me, Supsie, Fuel, Auto, Zooka, TK, Fidel, And I believe madverbs. Just check the links that’s been posted in our thread and see for yourself
