What would you say to an FVC only for Audio Battles?
 

the audio section on this site has had the privilege of being injected some really skilled new entrants in the past few months and it would be nice to have something like this support them as they come up.

Whilst, also harmonizing the audio and text sections of the site so more folks can learn from each other's respective styles and games and feel more at home in the site too.

i'd say the FVC is in dire need of a rework. hopefully rules idea is that

several. the fvc needs to be comprised of a balance between the most educated voters and the most active voters. no compromises. the fvc needs high quotas. every battle should get a fvc vote. cyphers and tracks too.

The FVC has people in it that shouldn't be, so this is the last thing i'd suggest.

Current FVC is a fucking joke. Either take the current FVC format, lower all their vp to 2, and have their presence and consistency (not inflated vp) be what makes them effective. Or grant FVC status to any long standing, credible, talented battler and inflate their vp. Allow their expertise and opinion swing the course of battles even if they aren't very active or consistent.

Right now it seems any asshole can be FVC by writing some long winded, bullshit expos and then get 3 or 4 vp and start deciding the outcomes of battles, even if you have a tweenage mentality and weak to mediocre skills, abilities, and knowledge.

who would you recommend to be the FVC for the audio formats?

I like how everybody mentioned the FVC moderator. Thanks yall. I added active people that are putting in more votes than most. Some putting in 100+ votes. The FVC isnt the problem. We had several experienced battlers and seasoned vets, that went ghost when the site went AWOL because moderators were stripped of their powers. @Guts, you were one of those people, so with all due respect stfu, you have bo room to talk. The current FVC roster has plenty of votes going out, what we need is direction. That said, I will pm each FVC member with their new assigned duty tomarrow. Anybody who thinks they have what it takes, by all means step up. Until then , let us fix what has been broken for quite some time.

In the parameters I illustrated above, I would make a great FVC member if the latter part is implemented. The former, not so much.

I'm pretty sure I made a thread stating how only FVC members should be allowed to vote on battles to prevent buddy/hate/shit votes but ultimately that would slow this website the fuck down because fewer battles would get voted on and our heads would explode.

Just get double battles a thing.. not tag team... not crew, double.

The thing is we yet to come to a solid solution for a more valid FVC effort in the audio arena i would love to know what people would think of the same and how many would be willing to put their hat in for the same. a maximum of 3-5 members should be enough.

Thing is, is the last group of FVC members didnt have to be told what to vote on. EVERY battle was voted on. You guys see where its lacking, because you made this thread. If every member of the FVC put more effort into voting, instead of bitching about how votes are currently in whatever arena, we wouldnt be having this discussion, tbf. (No shots at you Saaxxx I know you and few others are putting in alot of votes.)

fvc should be hitting up audio in general, so i'm not sure i even understand any of this. it's like when stotty pimpin was trying start a debate about audio and text mods, like why? a mod does both. bars are bars

i see what you trying to say but modships is a totally different ball game compared to the FVC.

The audio arena stays excluded generally with a lot of good battles with 0 votes even past the deadline.

When i see battles like those i can't do shit other than voting myself first and then sharing them link in the shout box.

i have been on a voting spree since yesterday covered about 30-35 battles audio and texts both. sooooo many dope trax battles man... lol

I think we should add more perks for voting.

The whole 'Icon' thing that X mentioned last time is dope.

No offence taken man, the problem is a lot of the FVC members go inactive all of a sudden or vote on battles which already got enough votes to close instead of a few new guys battling which has zero let alone audios folks rarely even peep into that arena.

That's what i think should be fixed esp for audios.

We either only be team of folks with a definite track record (the voting pattern of the individuals when they were not FVC in my 8 months here i have voted on about 700 battles averaging close to 90 a month and i have only joined the FVC last month) or critically manage the existing team by removing the unproductive ones and adding in new promising ones every month.

Shit is already sad that we need an FVC for votes whereas voting in battles should be seen as an undeniable responsibility for everyone who has ever battled here.

I say the top voter gets a $10 amazon gift card every month.
