I'm making this post because the site loves to freak out in the chatbox/forums when we investigate and make a decision to ban someone. It's like you all expect a press release each time, so here we are. There was also some uproar about Jaydiamonds temporary week ban a little bit ago. I figured it would be easier instead of a million different posts and IMs to just have it here.

Jaydiamond joined the site in 2012 and from his time of joining untill March 24th 2019 (7 YEARS), he only battled 8 times. Over the year I've been here, he mostly dropped illiterate babble in the form of forum posts and troll voting (no/nonsense expos with ridiculous ratings), but it seems like we kind of just dropped his vp to 0 and forget about him as he wasn't really a nuisance.

But now he is. From the time he battled KG on March 25th 2019 until today (bout a month and a half), he's accrued 9 PAGES of battles on his profile, which is over 150 battles. ALL of which are complete nonsensical babble that bear no resemblance to any kind of legible English speech, nevermind a rap battle. He didn't heed our warning with the small temp ban we gave him. He has shown no attempts to improve and he floods the text arena daily with what is basically the equivalent to posting blank text boxes.

Why he built credits up over 7 years with troll voting to now spam the text arena with pure garbage is beyond me, but there was no way we'd ever know. He's been perm-banned for spamming/troll battles/free wins/troll voting.

Basically, here's how I see it.

For me, activity isn't problematic. In fact, it's for sure a good thing. That said, there's a difference between activity and spamming. Everything he posts is incoherent nothingness I honestly believe he was a troll. No one is this bad. Every new battler gets better within 5-10 battles. 150 battles is fucking ridiculous. The fact that he purposely built up tons of credits over seven years just to mass-drop tons of garbage verses says one thing and it speaks volumes: there's no way in hell this is just a bad battler.

He is perhaps the best troll LetsBeef has seen yet. He spent SEVEN FUCKING YEARS developing all those credits. After 7 years, someone who had no skill, never did well in battles, and was generally ignored by people on the site widely, any normal person, or even a mentally challenged person, would have left. But Jay didn't. He planned this all. And as ridiculous as that all sounds, I honestly believe this is the case.

7 years of saving credits. What an achievement. We lost a real one today.

i think it's wrong to ban someone for battling too much, just because they don't battle at a standard that you deem they should.

Ever the contrarian. You can’t even call it battling. Legit just incoherent babble day in and day out. It’s not about a certain standards, it’s just pure spam. Gave him warnings and chances and he completely ignored them.

How many times was he reached out to in a constructive way to better his writing?

Edit - Giving someone a warning, or threatening to ban them/infract them isn't necessarily "constructive," by the way.

Atleast a couple probably. The warning is more than enough though. Clearly spam. The OP speaks for itself, and I don’t need to get into one of your ridiculous arguments with you when you know you’re just arguing for fun. No one cares when you do this shit dude.

I only plan to battle bigger names in the tournaments because there are still dickriders out there who will vote for the bigger name just because he's/she's the bigger name and will try to find whatever reason they can come up with to vote against me
