PETITION: High-tier battlers who think RULE's bars are trash
 

RULE recently said on captain gutpunch's podcast interview that he disagrees with my assessment that "many current higher-tier LB battlers think that [his] bars have aged extremely poorly."

Of course, it doesn't really matter what RULE thinks since he is the batologist behind such ridiculous reaches as "G? UA yaR DeD / Guarded", "I'm a great and you're not / Immigrating? You're not", and "Jer ballin around / Gerbil in a round".

With that aside, I know that many current high-tier battlers DO consider RULE's bars to be, at absolute best, poorly aged. If you agree with that, I'd appreciate it if you backed it up by posting your agreement in this thread.

I'm just gonna state facts. Like I respect RULE cause he's a cool dude, but a lot of the wordplays he's used before in his bars have aged extremely poorly.

I can kinda understand the hype with rule kos of his contributions to the site. His still a beast that’s for sure but there is a few top tier guys in this era of letsbeef like the 2 dudes above me (rieper) and (shodan) that could probably eat rule for breakfast. Im not hating here at all kos I know rule would hand me an L pretty easy lol just voicing my opinion!

Change High-tier battlers to Meticulous voters.

Not gonna lie. Ive read countless battles, from some of the best and some of the worst battlers on LB: MOST WORDPLAY IS STRETCHED. But its a key factor to winning battles because it shows creativity and almost always is the best way to set up and execute a punch. Please also consider accents. RULE got the the carrot-cruncher accent , Bristolian.. so the way he pronounces some things is totally different to others.

That being said, my wordplay is fire.

I know I’m Classick so I don’t have a leg to stand on in this “discussion” but most of RULES best work is in his idiom punches. Since when has anyone said his WP was great? Not what he’s known for.

Seems like cherry picking and another reason in a long line of attempts to make the newest era look holier than tho......

But idk I’m crazy.

I want every voter to GIVE HIM THE FIRST PLACE if a single punch that he spits isn't IDIOM WORDPLAY.

But nah RULE was a solid clean battler once upon a time but he has some of the all time worst wordplay and his later incarnations leaned on that way too heavily.

Why did Shodan sign this, he is ass, not high tier.
