To tell everyone about the drugs you do? Is that like a way to fit in these day? I don’t understand. I’d think people would wanna keep that to themselves but this world is very open about drug usage.

Lol. Co-signed. Conversely I don't do anything, I don't even drink. That's not to say I haven't but it's not really for me.

I'm don't go about talking openly unprovoked, but if asked I'm fairly open (depending on the audience). I have some experience and I'm willing to share what I've learned. I don't brag about it or wear weed socks lime a badge of honour or anything.

Drugs are becoming increasingly more prevalent throughout society and yes it is probably a lot of people's way to fit in. A lot of people are lost and hurting and turn to what the majority have already turned to because it's the easy way out from the hurt and confusion they have within themselves. The music / cultures promoting it are the biggest issue along side the people in power who are more than likely letting this shit go on

Yeah people are pretty public with it. The amount of people I've heard talking about Xans, coke, speed or whatever else. I find the shit disgusting. I prefer sticking to alcohol if anything.

Alcohol is socially accepted but really just as bad as most of this other shit.

Depending on how much you drink. Not saying it's good either, just know my limits with alcohol.

I’d rather someone hide it. What do a person get out of bragging about how many lines they snort on a daily basis or how many xans they can pop?

About 2 months ago, I went for a drink with my gf and some mates from work. My girlfriends tried a very small amount of drugs, and the other guys probably never have smoked a joint. Anyways, we bump into two girls who I lived with in student accommodation last year. Those are the "open type" when it comes to drugs.

Safe to say, I'm fucking mortified at them coming out with stuff like "The first time me and Dave took MDMA together ____ blah blah". I'm sitting there, drinking probably some craft beer or something gay, pretending to me a respectable member of society, and I've got fucking Kevin and Perry talking about me taking lines every weekend.

I hate people who treat drugs as a "culture" but don't mind people being open about it. It was never really my thing, I always liked drinking and mainly smoked weed for something to do in my mid teen years. Other shit was more cause I just happened to be aroun it at the time.

They are alright, people jus' go over-board w/ them. Should be used as a recreational piece of fun, the addiction and what the addiction results in; is what makes them seem so bad.

As I grow older, I notice more and more people do them - people jus' keep it to themselves until someone mentions/does it in front of them.

Drinking is different even though I don’t drink, most people drink and have sound conversations about drinking. Drinking is advertised everywhere. I’m talking about the hardcore drug addicts.

Around the same time it became cool for a staff member to plagiarize, sway, and use racial slurs.

Everybody wants to belong to something . Potheads are like a subculture now. Drugs bring people together .. but so does anything. U got book clubs, chess clubs, sports teams ... Anything in the world , u don't need to get high to make friends. It's just easier I guess

Drugs don't make u cool. Ur either cool or ur not , whether u do drugs or not. Don't try to be cool , u end up having to upkeep an image. just try to make real friends n look for happiness

Smoking weed doesn't make you cool, but if you're cool you probably smoke weed.

It's natural for people to talk about their activities and experiences. I'd rather people be open and keep shit real than to be hiding or putting up a front.

You do 1 vice, even just drinking or weed and or are happy to chill with ppl who do it around you you got no right to get on your high horse about others who do "harder" social recreational drugs in moderation.

I’m talking about guys bragging about how much Cocaine or Molly they do. I don’t care about people drinking or smoking weed. That’s not as bad. But I am SPECIFICALLY talking about the guy who thinks it makes them cooler by telling everyone they do molly or snort lines. Not the guy who said he got drunk as hell last night.

That’s 2 different levels. You can go to a bar and have a normal time drinking. You can’t go to an open house location that has its own description on google maps to sniff coke.

So if people aren't talking about their drug experiences they probably don't have any. There's nothing wrong with either person, drug user or anti-drug, as long as they're not hurting anyone and themselves. About the cool aspect it's all in perception, you can smell the funk of someone trying to hard imo so it doesn't matter how cool they look.

I've always kind of made a joke out of drinking too much soI guess I'm a hypocrite in that regard.

Bragging about doing a lot of coke or molly 9 times out of ten translates to 'I'm insecure and still in search of my own identity.'

If the GOV could legalise and tax coke ect they would. Thats the thin line you walk with that example because thats the only difference because when it comes to killers well......

I once got called "basic" by a guy who wears a beanie, has his ears stretched, talks about how much he loves drugs, is a big fan of Rick and Morty, wears converse shoes, uses the word "basic".
