Interest in a new interchangable title?

I created the LBT & LBA titles back in the day, and am thinking about creating a new heavyweight title to be defending on a battle card, similar to the LBT but with some differences in format and rules.


Checking the interest for this, might consider putting into action

interchangeable titles are dead and lost prestige.
people still no-show LBT/LBA too , so this will plummet undoubtedly .

Whether it be the existing LBT/A models or some new version, generating interest in an interchangeable title would only be a good thing.

What is the title/format?

Never hurts to try. If its a bust, scrap it.

@RULE , instead of trying to do a new format, why don't you take over the existing LBT.im sure it will definately get more activity due to the fact your name is reattached to it .. because adding another one will only saturate titles further..

My only fear is that i wouldnt be active enough to run it fully month by month.

I've literally just taken this back over. I think a new belt entirely is a more exciting prospect.

If the LBT/A are replaced, the current champs should be in line for a shot at the new one....Id be pissed if I won 3-4 straight battles on cards to just get the belt taken away.

I would let them Co exist for at least a few months as to not stick all of our eggs in one basket.

Co-existing might be rough with the lack of activity around here. Im sure RULE's got a plan but what I thought generated the most interest in the initial belts were the tournaments that decided the champs...cuz you had the tourney then everyone who didn't win was trying to get the belt for a while after. If there's a tourney, the current champs could be slated to face the winners of the tourney and give them a fair shot. Idk...just thinking with my fingers here

If you and @ILLoKWENT get your ships together. Hell, even give us a date for Illmania we could probably form some decent teams in the run up.

Could be exciting to have a new belt around. Kinda like having UFC & Bellator.

Both heavyweight belts, just different ranking and execution methods.

I don't think it would go over well just seeing the activity levels now and it would saturate titles even more like Illo said. I don't see a point in having another interchangeable title PPV when the one in place now isn't flourishing. Might as well just rebrand LBA/T and spice it up if you're looking to make things more interesting.

Exactly.. why would we need another interchangeable title thrown in?the existing one is not as active as it once was, and even you yourself can't promise to be able to commit consistently if your we're to go back and run the LBT.. I don't see any point tbh.. I say you run LBT again and let it flourish like it once did..

Yeah, RULE definitely knows what the people want.

Im still leaning towards prefering to run something fresh.

It would be very regimented, i'll post a thread soon with the actual idea and y'all can yay or nay.

Realistically how many crews are available for Illmania, and would people have an issue with me running it if Classick decide to enter?

Go for it. Like I said, if a date was put out there everyone would scarper to form teams in order to take part.

There are like 2 to 3 illmania ready crews right now. Give me and nick some time, it will be 3 to 4.

Mid december should work, people will be off work / school and should have more time to post.

If classick decide to enter i'll get some neutral to make the match-ups. EtH perhaps if your not battling?
