Surely we've all heard this/seen others talking about it, now its top trending on yt with 20 mil views in two days. Thoughts? Lots of people talking about Em grasping for relevance by politicizing his content, but hasn't he always put his two cents in politically going back to "White america" and shit?

I hear a lot of people saying this was garbage and his flow was wack. I could not disagree more. I thought this was fire. A couple cool puns but mostly just raw passion and anger. I think his flow fit the tone well. I like that he was willing to alienate a large portion of his fan base and didn't pull his punches. I'm with the shits.

The Eminem Show has a lot of his political views all across it. Mostly going at Bush in that album. I do know he is dropping an album this year, but I hardly think he's doing it to get relevant again (Maybe to some degree), but he is not going out of his "norm" to achieve it so it is acceptable imo.

If you notice he's showing up alot more in media towards the end of this year, I believe this is due to an album dropping in November sometime.

I don't think it was wack at all, although I see this more as a spoken word piece than a rap freestyle, and that's how I'm judging it. I think it was pretty bold of him to say fuck you to his own fans who are also supporters of Donald Trump. I don't understanding the whole "stay in your lane" response when artists or athletes say something that's political. Just because he raps, he's not supposed to have an opinion on Donald Trump or what's going on with the country and the world? I honestly don't get it.

Celebrities/Businesses getting into politics is a bad business decision. Either way you are pissing off some of your customers/fans whatever, so it's best to just not voice an opinion. Obviously, that doesn't matter much in this case it won't hurt Eminem's success but that was a general note. Same reason businesses don't want politics or controversial topics discussed at work.

Fact of the matter is eminem, is the last person to be ridiculing Trump for racism, sexism etc, etc.. pot calling the kettle black.and none of this ,well he's our president and we hold him to a higher standard.. well then whoever says that how about u run for office or do something that will benefit your community. This reply was spot on. I'd only add that Em's joining the people (sjw's) that would of had his music banned. Its really fuckin sad Em made a career from exercising his free speech now joins the ranks of those who think not all speech is protected. His lyrics about gays and women would of never been allowed and his ass runs to the ones who woulda banned them.

I watched a great video which perfectly compared why someone would be both an Eminem fan and a Donald Trump fan. The worst thing is, Eminem did at one point seem pretty conscious about all of this stuff. But when we're suddenly saying Obama was a great president and not saying a word about him over his entire 8 year run, and picking back up the pitchfork when he's out, it's ridiculous. Obama's record on dropping bombs was horrendous. There was plenty to go at him about.
