Voting is crazy on this site..although the point system is good I think battles should be judged on categories, for example: punches, personals, multies, complexity, flow..whoever votes decides who won what category and three out of the five wins the vote...I do think sum people get votes cuz of popularity no doubt ..but u can’t change that

People get votes on popularity for sure. That might be true everywhere. How do people get that notoriety though? Likely from being a presence and putting out consistent material that people like.

popularity has always been an issue here though at least since I've been coming

So in other words, once you gain momentum you can sit on your ass and get votes by dropping zero-effort garbage.
