So I'll be paying
500+ for 11 hours of studio time. Lol I highly hope it's worth it. These guys seem very legit though so I'm very confident. As soon as I finish, I'll be sliding it here to show it off LOOL.
Thoughts.. is that a lot or is it fair? |
About $45 a hour is a good rate, if the studio is top notch. Going rate for most studios in ATL is between 30-50 so thats a good price. Should try to negotiate 400.
---------- Post added at 02:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:41 PM ---------- i wouldnt pay more than 500. They better be mixing and mastering too.. lol |
Seems reasonable but only if the finished product reflects the value. Good shit though man. Look forward to peeping it.
|
45 an hour doesn't sound bad. I'm not going to lie to you and act like I know what all goes in to track-making because I don't, but I equate to real life shit. People are paying close to 100 an hour for dumb shit (shit people should know how to do for free, etc.) so paying 45 an hour for something you love to do doesn't seem bad at all in the grand scheme of things.
|
Yeah Hoffs right, you gotta pay that piper anyways, might as well spend that dough on something you love.
DREAM BIG & B.I.G. |
I'm gonna feel so guilty handing over 500+ Lol. But it'll motivate me more and more once I get those end results

don't sound too bad but you payin for somethin ya love doing, so it sounds fair to me bro ... |
I've dropped 1,000+ on bottle service at some stupid vegas club I don't fucking remember a thing about besides throwing that money down and immediately feeling like king shit, but then you wake up the next morning and your shoes are missing, you don't know how the fuck you got back to your room or who the fuck that chick is, all you know is you somehow still got your wallet, you're not missing a body limb and you got $2 in your pocket. That's when the guilt hits. When you realize your phone is missing, you've been on Androids and iPhones so fucking much you don't remember anyone's number so you can't call anyone or know where they're at, you're just fucking lost.
Then you wake up. |
Y'all don't know what you're talking about lol.....
Bro, just don't let these niggas finesse you... Have you heard any Artist they've mixed/mastered? If so link me. You don't need to pay that much... Im paying $20 an hour, but thats also cus my producer fucks with me, but if they charging 50 this shit better sound radio ready af. What I'm saying is you don't need to pay that much to get good sound. If half that. ---------- Post added at 07:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:18 PM ---------- find a song they've done and link me |
Punk stop changing ya damn name so much, never have a fuckin clue who u are lol.
Converting to english currecny, 500+ for 11 hours is a bit expensive imo. |
Haha!
It'll be a one time thing though so if it doesn't give me the results I'm looking for, I know not to do it again. If I'm extremely satisfied, I'll be dropping another 500+. Besides I started using trackouts so regardless, they work with those the best. I'll be getting better results |
Nigga have you asked them for any tracks they've mastered? That shouldve been your first question.
Link me, or this whole thing is a publicity stunt for your new EP... lol |
Lmao we'll see bruh. I'm confident about it. And I've heard tons of shit they've mixed/mastered down.
Sounds amazing. Definitely radio ready |
sounds good af man tbh. Make it work.

I paid 35 per hour, and that was a hook-up (keep in mind, im canadian so that's in CAD).
I thikn 500 for 11hrs is good, just make sure you utilize every minute... i had a case where the sound engineer was purposely wasting time so we would have to pay for more time... keep an eye out for fuckers like that. |
