Viewing Your Blind Text Battles - Sent Battles
 

Hey,

Have you guys noticed, whenever you send a text battle to someone that is a blind drop - you are unable to view what you sent them until they post their battle.

Am I the only one that thinks this is strange? Like you should be able to view what you sent to someone.

Share your thoughts.

Feel like this is something that could possibly be fixed as well considering there is no point in not being able to see what you yourself has already posted @Nicholas @Bleu @Punk @OSKAR @Mindless @X @Pugz

Yea but it's not like you can edit the bars once you send them or anything. Guess for the crew members it would be cool to read them before accepted

Good point, it does feel weird that ya can't see ya verse until someone's posted...

The reason I am asking, I sent an 8 to somebody. I made it on my work PC so I don't have it saved... and now I don't even know what my 8 consists of! LOL.

But I asked a mod about it, and he said it was a good point that no-one's brought up before so he recommended that I start a thread regarding it.

Yeah @Nerdism I'm thinkin bout what you sed... Maybe crew members should be able to see each other's blinds? Would be really helpful for elevation...

the blind drop thing should just get removed as a whole imo

Blind drops shouldn't be removed imo. People can finally stop with the whole "you send first" crap.

I agree the sender should be able to see their blind drop though.

There's no point in being able to see it directly, unless the sent verse changes due to a glitch and you need to be able to check for that. Just save it in a Word document or something.

in that case, remove the feature from the tournaments also

Then how do you send the link in the first place?

Instead of trying to be a smart-ass on how someone should save their work, besides that point having no correlation.

It's as simple as fucking this, YOU should be able to see the battles YOU send, regardless of it being a blind drop - the blind drop, is only for your opponent to not know what he is up against.

For the record, I like blind-drops and think it was a great addition.

I've found it annoying when I send a blind battle & then the opponent replies far later once ive deleted it from wordpad and my frame of reference for what I wrote becomes hazy at best- but I also feel like thats not really a huge issue in comparison to what x is working on right now with the new site tbh, would definitely rather see some real progress developmentally than some ez quickfixes to the system, but thats just me.

After that I'd def like to be able to see my own verse even if blind, just for practicality.

Haven't heard too much of this new site/over-haul thing. Hopefully it's lit.
