If we do appoint another mod and I'm not saying we are then we should have a public poll with the options being Aggo & Babylon as they're the clear front runners. They should be able to make their own threads before hand to answer questions & put out why they would be a good mod. *Jesse Pinkman Voice* Democracy bitch!

I don't think a public poll is a good way to select mods because then it becomes a popularity contest and you never know all the reasons why someone is popular with all the people they are popular with. Some people feel beholden to others for various reasons (former crew-mate, secret ghostwriter, etc.) or may end up feeling beholden to others when they help get them the nod in such a popularity contest. Of course it's a good thing for a prospective mod to be popular with the community...and community input is important in selecting who's going to run shit around here. But public input has always been taken into consideration..from people saying #rant4mod or #punk4mod, and now #babylon4mod. I feel like if we turn in into an explicit poll, it could open the floodgates to potential bullshit we may not necessarily want.

Cosign noble, mostly because I think babs is more popular than me.

Also, I do think we need another mod since we have at least one mod who is pretty inactive.

It won't ever be a public poll as far as I'm concerned. It's a private poll in the mod forums and it's based, hopefully, on what the staff thinks would be the best option for an active and decent moderator. I don't know that we even need another mod right now tbh. If we do decide we want another one I would probably throw a couple of the guys that were already mods and stepped down of their own accord on the poll.

Xcercius and Esso were great mods.
