Another potential idea?
 

I've brought this up in a similar thought in the past. But, with audio struggling most right now, I thought it would be nice to tweak it and gear it specifically toward audio.

What would you guys think about cross site battles? Battles in which a "team" is selected from each site, and battles take place on both(on an even scale.) E.G. 12 people teams, with 3 battles taking place on each platform. It would be a great way to generate some traffic for all participating parties.(Members from each site signing up to the other to battle/vote on those battles, etc.) And subsequently helps increase userbases, and potential activity for everyone involved. Just a thought. Again, potentially this is something that may never happen. But, would like some input regardless. If it's good, maybe future steps can be taken.

I tried this on another site. People these days are so arrogant in thinking their site is the shit the voters are so biased its insane. Not saying LB is that way because we tend to keep it 100.

Its worth a shot if we can get a decent site.... Maybe Rap Royalty.......

It doesn't NECESSARILY have to be a site, either, mind you. @Skizzo's group is still alive and well, for example. And this is something I've discussed with him in the past. Rap Royalty would also be a good avenue, yes. Maybe RMBVA, rappad, etc as well.

OTBVA hates us LOOL get them over here to battle, they might stay. We need that type of energy though

I think you got the wrong idea. I'm not talking about a confrontation. I'm talking about a "working agreement." So to speak. More akin to a talent trade than any sort of ill natured attack.

Collectively if the rap websites of that world came together into a rap battle global community that'd be a great thing.

Ideally it'd work out cause bars are bars are bars and wordsmiths would appreciate the artform regardless where it's coming from.

You never know some FaceBook group could have the sickest spitters and they're all from Laos or some random destination but nobody aside from their friends and family knows about them so they don't get the recognition they deserve. With us working together as a rap battle conglomerate they're nothing we can't accomplish:

OTBVA is the 4chan of the battling world. It's just garbage and memes. RMBVA is cool though. I don't post there at all but their feed for the battle scene is probably the best.

Where could unbiased voters for such a battle be found?

i guess you could do a panel? A few people from both sites.

Maybe we choose the winners based on a poll. And let people promote the battles outside of the site(The drawback being bias. But, the positive being that this potentially increases membership through people signing up to vote. MAYBE they'll stick around.)
