Natural substances
Wanted to know if any of you guys shared experience with natural herbs / wanted to know the collective thoughts on such.
I'm currently enjoying about three grams of Kratom (quite low dose) which is one of my favored herbs right now. Despite being reportedly on the side of a relaxant I find that it quiets mental background noise very efficiently & allows for sharper focus. Kava is also nice, but the stuff online about liver damage if prepared improperly shies me away. Also have some experience with Calea Zacatechichi/mexican dream root & have had quite spiritual dreams with that. Blue lotus is cool for sleeping. Thats probably the bulk of my natural herb intake, I am getting some African dream bean (Entada Rheedi) in soon as I've had some really beneficial effects from dream-altering herbs. |
I use herbs only when I'm sick. Things like echinacea, mulberry, ginger, garlic, etc. I've never used herbs to get high or alter dreams or anything like that.
|
I'm somewhat interested in this. Where do you get kratom from & what are the laws surrounding it? I'm a bit hesitant to try any mind altering substances for obvious reasons but maybe you could convince me into something...

I personally buy it from a local smoke-shop, just because you can get 100 grams for like $30 instantly. You can purchase Kratom online too, and to my knowledge it's completely legal everywhere in the US. It originated in southeast asia, it's a plant in the Coffee family. Its feeling is quite mild, even in contrast to reggie weed I don't think it can even be called a "high." It just has such strong anxietal relief and intensely helps me to chill out and or focus if im having a particularly challenging day on a mental front. ---------- Post added at 02:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 PM ---------- Quote:

I know a bit about meditation. Haven't done it in years, but I was once really into it.

Why? Well, I really like ponies, so maybe if I make some exist in my head I can talk to them. That would be a nice change. |
You really do?

You fucking with herbs?
You are what you eat |
When did the word kief become a thing? I swear to God that word didn't exist in 2010 when I still smoked.
|
I believe it came around 2005 @EtH
@babylon that's dope, do you usually plan stuff for it. I'm a stoner but I'm not a pot-head so I've never planned stuff for it. |

Also bumping because I've got some Celastrus Paniculatus/Mugwort coming in, as well as some LSA/ other alkaloid containing hawaiian seeds that bare hallucinogenic properties. once had a terrible trip on them for like 6 hours on a mistakenly high dosage, but they serve as an almost spiritual remedy for resolving personal bad habits of thought Ive found |

So Babylon is talking about herbs & weed and he doesn't know what trichomes are?
What a poser |
Quote:
If they didn't know what kief was, do you really expect them to know what trichomes are? Why would I ask him "you just said you dont know what kief is, but hey, do you know what tirchomes are?" I broke the term down to laymen description to cater to someones level of expertise on a subject. Next time, please be intelligent enough to contextually assess a sentence before popping off like a mark bitch. |
My brother just showed me that Kratom stuff a week or so ago. He's using it to get off pain killers. Like addies if you take a little and like xannies when you take too fair amount. Completely legal and not too expensive. It's pretty bomb.

How do I purchase kratom?

If you knew they were trichomes, your sentence would've been worded something like this "Did they used to call the crystalline granules with sugar consistency on buds anything before they called them trichomes? Or was it just not focused on" Or "Did they used to call ______ ? We call them trichomes" You bodied yourself with your own stupidity |
ill leave a natural substance on ur mommas cuntlips.

It would be much faster for you to just visit a local smoke-shop, but if you like getting stuff online there are multiple vendors. Happyhippo has been around for a while. http://www.happyhippoherbals.com/ ---------- Post added at 12:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:55 AM ---------- Quote:

I fucking hate "weed culture". You guys are sitting there bitching and moaning about who knows some faggot words when really you should just be sitting back watching Half Baked with a blunt.

homeboy just feels the immediate compulsion to assert how much more he knows about a subject he's delved into his narnia library about. im just tryna talk about some plants. Gonna make some mugwort tea tonight & see if it affects dreaming for me as it has done with others. |
It's not just a one off Pulse being weird though. It's one of the most common "interests" I've found where people are stuck up arseholes about everything. Even more so than things like whiskey drinkers, who are also horrendous with it.
It's the type of people who put a poster of Bob Marley on their wall (listening to Bob Marley is optional), often discuss "strains" in high depth but would EASILY be exposed in a blindfold test (see every fine wine drinker for more details) and shares random shit on Facebook about how weed is the least harmful and nonaddictive thing in the world and has caused zero deaths ever (don't see mental health for more details). These people also will agree with Joe Rogan's ridiculous belief that you need "mind altering drugs" to really "see reality". What ever happened to just rolling a joint because you like to get high? |

I think this even extends to ideological shit like why you see radical feminists with blueberry hair shrieking obscenities into a megaphone. Its the same fervent cunty obsession with a niche subject that something like the vape community in the cannabis world uses to tell everyone how superior they are because of vapor being more healthy. I think its mostly just vapid small-scale fanaticism |

Is it? Vaporizing buds still has its health concerns, in comparison to combustion it only really reduces the amount of tar consumed to my knowledge. I have a $150 cannabis vaporizer, it's pretty shit. The vape hit is so weak & requires so much actual toking of the device that before even mentioning tolerance I'm already like screw this shit give me a joint/bong/pipe/anything else. im sure you weren't arguing the popularity of vape elitist fuckos, and sure the fact that vapor in direct comparison to combusted smoke being more "healthy" gives you an argument, but it's totally irrelevant to my point that vape elitists exist. |

I bought the Pax2 last year. Other than the volcano vaporizer...it's the best I've tried. Gives pretty big clouds and you actually feel the hit. I would highly suggest it to anyone who's looking for a vaporizer. |
The pax 2 is sweet. I just have a hard time spending 250 on something else to smoke out of when I have all this glass laying around.
|
Idk the name or anything but my roommate got a 60$ vape because it had some minor defect—you have to take long slow hits but man, after a half hour I'm usually pretty baked. And we only go through like 1 or 2 bowl packs worth. I have however only vaped with him like 3 times so idk much about it. My lungs are shit so I definitely need a healthier method if I'ma continue smoking after college. Edibles don't work on me, and idk if it's a mental or metabolism thing but it pisses me off haha.
|
I got a $10 battery from some random smoke shop and I usually buy Kurvana cartridges ($25 half gram / $45 full gram) overall pretty cheap habit.
This battery hits just fine, no metallic burning taste or anything. Unless this starts fucking up really bad or explodes in my pocket or something I don't see the need for the higher end weed vape set-ups. |

To answer an above question, I have the tsunami typhoon vape by TPV. It has a 360 all around oven chamber that heats up to like 500 degrees max with a degree-by-degree adjustable GUI. I still dont really like it personally, I enjoy the craftsmanship/high but not the hits. AVB is a good plus too for edibles/hash making Also, @Manhattan do you do anything with your Already Vaped Bud? |
Bump....Gonna read this and drop my knowledge. wanna see the difference between 2017 and now...
