March 2017 Grand Champion Text Tournament
 

The March 2017 Grand Champion Text Tournament will start on SUNDAY, MARCH 5th 2017.

BACKGROUND
We ended up getting 56 people ranking in the text tournament, 4 of those accounts were multiple accounts, so that left 52 primary accounts. In order to run a 64-person tournament, I made a decision that the Top 12 ranked will automatically advance to round 2. They will face the System user in Round 1 who will forfeit and advance them.

RULES

• Round 1 starts on Sunday, March 5th at 12pm PST
• Each round lasts 7 days
• You have 4 days to post to your battle verses in each round, if you don't post in time you forfeit
• Voting closes each Sunday at 12pm PST and a new round begins, this leaves minimum 2 days of voting but could be more if both participants post early.
• The battle length is 16 LINES

The brackets were randomized using a random formula, and the Top 12 ranked were also included to make sure they go into a random slot in Round 2. The order I am posting below is the order that the brackets will appear in the tournament:

I mean, what difference does it really make if this dude is a multi or not? Is a spot in the tourney not filled either way?
Also, that's just the nature of how ip addresses work. Verifying that his IP isn't shared by another account isn't bs just because you have personally believed evidence that might show otherwise. It's literally X's only tool to solve this lol.

EDIT: This point is separate to the situation, but why is it that when anyone who might potentially have had an account on here before shows up, everyone relentlessly enters their own retarded holmesian modality to decipher who it is? ive done it too but holy shit is it irrelevant, youre just snuffing potential activity at some point.

It's a blind battle. I've been asked this like four or five times now by people that haven't competed before so I'll post a tutorial when the brackets are live and tag you in it. For now, chill and wait for X to post 'em up.

The problem will filling in, is it's not fair to the rest of the members. We can't selectively choose people to fill in fairly. Everyone in the tournament battled and ranked in February as was required to enter.

There will be another tournament most likely in May, with April being a qualifying month. There will be another chance soon!
