Funny thing is the amount of interest there still is....the amount and quality of the names reading the threads would be enough to take this fucker off life support if everyone felt like being active. I guess forum posts like this are enough to keep em comin back.

Honestly, one the big problems w/ battling on LB right now...the amount of votes. Spend your time writing a 32...only to have 3 randoms vote on it to decide a winner.

I can't even bring myself to vote on most of the shit I see now because it's pure fucking garbage

In essence, no one good battles, or votes, and no one new is good because of it.

Thing for me is. I have no way to record. Only check L.B on my Ps4 typing with my controller so I'll be fucked if I'ma text. Doen't help that there isn't anyone/anything on here to re light that fire to battle either tbh.

I get feelin some typa way bout the lack of votes...its a problem. Its just funny that theres still dozens of folks following any bit of activity in the forums but only contribute to that by remarking how dead the site is or talking about 'when it used to be active'.

Mufuckers aint got nothing better to do than stare at a dead ass website.....i cant tell nobody how to spend their spare time but thats a head scratcher. Maybe they should just pull the plug.

Not really a head scratcher. This is what happens with a lack of new blood. The site stagnates while the older heads either out grow the battling it self or get bored of facing the same people over and over again.

Don't worry, guys. Pugz will log on again in about 6 months, and promise another update to save the site. That'll turn things around.

Only time will tell...

at this point it is what it is. if this is what we have to work with, we just all have to come to that realization then start contributing. at the same time, we've given years to a site that feels far too obsolete in 2016. that's the main issue. Online battling itself is dying, and not just LB. Why do an online battle when there's probably a rap battle league that's 2 cities away. They're all over Facebook and YouTube and while they'll never replace KOTD or URLtv I can see how they've replaced websites & online battling in general. the online element of battle rap itself is dying. you either make diss tracks or you battle in person... while LB took a step in the right direction by focusing on LIVE battling, LB was probably the main innovator/pioneer in online battling. So it's up to Pugz to usher in the modern era of online battling. if he doesnt take it upon himself to do that, we either keep LB alive and make the best of what we have or we move on.

Plus, Letsbeef Live Battles, with the Letsbeef.com logo plastered everywhere. Guys are wearing LB hats, t shirts, everything. How cool is that? But wait, they are promoting Letsbeef.com.......and LB was fucking dead. Huh? What are they promoting? A dead as fuck website they barely even logged onto.

Pugz wanted to put together live battles with the pre-established branding of Letsbeef.com, but as Letsbeef.com had essentially failed to exist, he was putting the live battles together in the name of nothing. Pugz wanted to treat Letsbeef like it was the website for his battle league, when we wanted to treat Letsbeef like THIS was the battle site...cause that's why we were all here.

Instead of using Letsbeef Battles to promote Letsbeef.com, he did the opposite. There's no money in bush league battle promotion, but LB was already proven as a potential killer money maker for his big bro. Dude's just crap at business.

Just terrible ideas all round. To think of all the work put into that shit which could have been better used.

Anyways, I'm sure everyone's finally switched over to my side. Shame so many people wanted to defend the direction and brag about their contributions when they were too stupid to see that since 2012, we were always headed in this direction.
