Lockhart/Esso vs. MF/Iman - feel this gon be dope but lock/esso been putting in more recent work, and hasnt lost a step/rusty... while mf don had long bouts of inactivity, and iman is nice wit it but at this point, i dont think its enough to pull a win here.. especially esso's on some heavyweight shit as of late.i got this 80% 20% lock/esso.

Rosco/Cel vs. - Grizz/Riccel's been very active, but inconsistent skillwise, theres signs of the old cel(potentially dope conceptually) mixed with lackluster cel(lazy,basic), rosco, dont know too much about, gizz/rican tho, a very dangerous combo, but what makes this close is the inactivty that griz/rican have had for the past year..with that said, im thinkin it may not matter, due to grizz/rican conceptual strength as a team regardless of rust..well see which cel comes out, and if grizz/rican shows...i got this at 75% to 25% to grizz/rican

Indica/Reefer vs. Skizz/Manny - BOTR (LETHAL) too close to call, both teams are heavyweight caliber, i just find this utterly ridiculous that they both were placed in a first round battle..

Shodan/Dean vs. CD/WHITZ - prolly the least exciting round, but still fun nonetheless,shodan/dean a very formidable team, very polished and know how to battle well, vs. coffindodger whos been elevating tremendously as of late, teamed with whitz whos a veteran but very inactive text wise.. battle of styles but i got sho/dean taking it 75% to 25% due to more experience and skill... but coffin pulled a couple upsets in past tourneys.. dono, anyone?

yeah.. the line count is normally 12 tournament lines.. which is longer than reg 12.. you couldve done 16 at most.. 32 is hella long, and noone wants to put in that much work not knowin whether other dudes gonna show up or not..

My solution is to just write a bunch of opponent-neutral bars (i.e., no personals). That way if the other team no-shows, I can use the material in another battle

or both make sure they dont go over 12 lines in both submissions.. anyone goin over gets dq'd cause its easy to check by copy pastin.. a normal tourney 12 and seeing how many lines its equivelant too a normal basic battle

Personal bars are what makes a verse hit hardest though....If its the same difference between tournament size bars and regular size with a 32 as there is with a 12 and a 16, thats like maybe 40 regular lines. thats a shit ton...the past few tag tourneys were all 16.

I've made it very clear that competitors shouldn't be waiting until the last day to post. The round closes 24 hours after the 28th. Regardless of the number of votes in the battles. So, again, the sooner you and your opponents post, the more votes the battle will receive. If you want to risk your battle ending with 1, or 2 votes, though, that's on you. I also didn't say that you were bitching. But, quite a few people have been.

Oh I know, I see the thread too fambulance. I was just making it clear that "MY" post in particular was in no way bitching or nun like that. We had to face them now or in the finals, either way was fine with me idc. & I personally like the 32 lines thing btw. Give's me some breathing room instead of the Scheme Tourney bars which were shorter. So i'm cool with w.e, I'm just here to snatch that title up and walk out. No disrespect to the other teams... But that's how I come in and do things.

I have no problem waiting for my opponents, I would rather have the battle end with a few votes and face them at their best than make them rush a half ass'd verse. Tbh. So i'm cool with waiting for a bit.
