seriously though. i done seen niggas get GC's off of 2 niggas no showing consecutively or gettin put in one of the easier brackets etc etc etc

so i'd like to see a GC tourney

8 GC's going at it, 2 losses to get eliminated

Well, although it would be fun not really a big fan of this idea...First off, all those guys would be competing to get ANOTHER title (rich get richer lol) and they probably would be from different times and won under different circumstances...Personally i rather see a Tournament where nobody who has a title can enter (maybe biased here) or like do one where those same 8 GC's you're referring to battle 8 non GC's...With that being said, i wouldn't mind seeing this take place because i like seeing good battles, but yeah can't take away what they've already earned so not sure what it would prove

Well, if 8 GC's battle each other one will reign supreme and have more bragging rights

they can get their Grand Champion usertitle changed to a diff color, or a 'Champion of Champions' usertitle type of thing..it'd only make sense to eventually have all the champs battle it out

they do this shit everywhere.

on TV like the Crossfit championship or Ninja Warrior

even the NBA has a midwest division leader, atlantic division leader..etc...then eastern conference champs, western conf champs, etc...until there's a finals champion.

same concept. get the winners of all GC's and have them battle it out for a distinctive title

Well, for NBA the work is done in the regular season...this is more like the All Star game, Champion of Champions title does sound pretty cool though

It's a good idea. "Ultimate Grand Champion" corny as it may seem. Only thing is that some of the recent grand champions gone awol so I'd be difficult to round them up prolly except for rock. Ninja warrior my shit

Can't really fault someone for other people noshowing. More times than not I think its cause they know they'll lose, and it usually happens in the early rounds

I like the idea though, Muggz and student have both suggested having this tournament in the past. Would be hard at this point to get dudes like ticket, six shot and bleu tho and it would make for a better tournament if we had the last 8 opposed to just any 8 like dj wenjay etc

I'll see if I can reach out to the old heads (audio) to make this happen. Audio would be preferable because they just came back for "Rookies Vs. Vets" but text would be a hard sell for those guys and other people have completely ghosted but I'll see about them too. We've got their email addresses so it's not that difficult.

This could be dope, GCs are usually the most polished battlers here unless they get there through means as Godbody said. Hell, I once literally got to the finals of the one bar tourney without posting a single fucking bar. But with that being said, it'd be pretty dope to see a bunch of the ACTUAL heads of this bitch start taking each others heads off.
