Hey guys. I'm trying to figure out how I can buy the coding behind the rap battle plugins here. I have a battle site of my own and need a rap plugin for text battles. Can anyone help me please?

honestly, if you can't write the PHP you need to make a text battle plugin and you can't find anyone willing to write it for you, you probably shouldn't be running a website

No, I can't code at all, I'm just pointing out some facts. There are lots and lots of freelance web designers though, just google "freelancers" and find one. I can't promise they'll get it done for a reasonable amount of money though

If you don't have any idea what you're doing and can't afford to pay other people to do it for you then you need to not do it. In fact, you probably should just not do it anyway because I'm betting that it's going to fail miserably and be run like shit anyhow because you don't know what you're doing.

I've seen over 50 vBulletin / phpBB / myBB, etc. websites that were "copies" of this one and they all failed miserably. This was a few years back too when people were willing to try more then one website.

^ I doubt that's because of the software they're on, though. More likely it's because of something else. Lyrical Ass - Salt, as far as I can tell, runs software from 2003. They suck, sure, but they're active.

That said, if I was going to start my own site, I'd hire a professional web designer to make a clean, slick, modern interface. Or just learn to code, but I'm not good with computer-stuff.

I never said it was the software dickbrain but it was part of the issue. The thing is most websites still battle on forums. I wouldn't call them active enough either, they're #1 battler is only 90/4 after 10 years. On the contrary we had 250+ text battles happen last month and that's a slow month for us. Not sure how many audio but I'm guessing at least 100+
