Honest discussion about voices in audio/video/live battles
 

Well, recently, I've been considering attempting to try my hand at more audio battles, and perhaps even video or live battles. However, there is just one issue that is slowing me down in that endeavor. As anyone who has ever heard me talk on here knows, I just don't have the voice necessary for any format of battling where lines are spoken.

So, here's my question. Should I just make the jump and try to improve it, try to improve my speech (somehow) before bothering with it at all, or avoid any audio-based battle formats completely? I'm curious to know what the live battlers (and armchair wannabe live battlers) on this site think of this problem, and my possible responses to it.

Do you have some kind of lisp or stutter or something? Short of a speech impediment or a lady voice there's no reason not to jump in.

We still mock Rohaans speech impediment.

Just start doing audio battles, if you beat enough people you'll get better at it but don't expect to do 1-2 audio battles then jump to live battling and think you'll be great at it lol it's all practice, try to get some battles popping in TinyChat on cam to practice too.

There's someone from LB who battles with a speech impediment (not naming names). We already know who it is.

Nah go for it man.. We got motherf*ckers that sound like mclovin while rapping on here. Not naming anybody in particular but he talks a lot of shit too.
