The media, selective coverage, & distractions
 

Idk about ya'll but I pay close attention to the shit goin on around me because I might be the last person this shit effects but it effects me somehow..

anyway, this racial tension / police brutality thing...what gives? police abuse their power everywhere, every day. why is this getting so much attention? they do things like this in the media to evoke certain emotions, to get a certain response/reaction, and to push a certain agenda. so what could the agenda possibly be and what do 'they' (the powers that be) gain from promoting police brutality and racial tension? any guesses?

my guess is something like, cameras on every cop and street corner. sure they have cameras & microphones everywhere but if they could get away with putting them on every cop and street corner it'll increase their surveillance power. they just need to justify it somehow

my 2nd guess, and this is my gut feeling...is that they want to lock blacks/rioters up. these people will account for a large amount of prison labor if u can get them in droves..


the prison industrial complex is a crazy industry with billions of dollars involved...its all intertwined with a bunch of shit. ie; the same people that might own/invest in record labels own/invest in prisons. So to profit on both ends, they'll promote artists that are catchy, yet promote violence/drugs..and then catch the impressionable youngstas slippin n throw them in jail...:pimp:

look up shit like the GEO Group, George Zoley, Scopia Capital if ya'll wanna connect all the dots. these niggas are big players in the prison industry

lastly... while all these riots and protests are going on in Baltimore and all this police brutality shit is getting coverage, did ya'll notice..

The Boston bomber, Aaron Hernandez, and now the Aurora shooter (movie theater shooting during The Dark Knight) have all been in the news within 2 weeks of each other? We know what happened to the first 2..and today they just announced the trial for James Holmes, the movie theater shooter..3 high profile niggas in a 2 week span? what are they distractin us from? shiiiiit

but all conspiracy shit aside. aint nobody sayin Illuminati this or Satan that. I'm layin out plain facts. Its facts that this shit is getting selective coverage.. It's facts that this shit happens daily and nows when they wanna scrutinize it for whatever reason. Facts that all 3 of those niggas were either sentenced or tried in a 2 week span. Facts that there's a ton of distractions going on and that's something that should bother you, as someone that represents the 99%, because you're absolutely powerless and have no idea whats planned for you

While I don't agree with much of this thread's original post or the things Godbody is obviously attempting to imply in it, I do think that his mention of the prison-industrial complex deserves some further thought. The industry in question is undoubtedly a corrupt and out-of-control establishment.

If you don't agree you're a dumbass because there's nothing to disagree with. It's fact. Its my personal opinion what they're up to but everything I said the media is doing and whatnot is fact

from an outsiders perspective it doesn't take a lot to notice how pertinacious the american media is on certain things.

It almost seems like the media is trying to incite a race war. When was the last time you saw a high profile story about a corrupt black cop? How about a white portrayed as a victim of the system? There has to be a medium to these polar extremes but I can't recall the last time media showed me an example of it.

I feel as if they put Obama in office to accelerate race related tension/politics. George Bush wouldn't be able to handle this police brutality / racism shit and he'd probably make himself look like an ass in the process

funny shit is, on WorldStar they had the video of Aaron Hernandez's sentencing and niggas all over the comments like 'so they got the boston bomber and Aaron Hernandez..what happened to that nigga who shot up the movie theater?'....several people were sayin that in the comment section
