Topical League (Interest Thread)
 

So if I was to run a topical league, which would be one topical every week, I want to see who would be interested in competing in it.

You can sign in and out for the league every week, but I defo want people to sign in for as many weeks as possible.

Another thing is that you will be required to vote on 3 other topicals during the week you join.

Who would be interested in taking part? This is NOT a sign up, just gauging interest.

I wouldn't mind joining it. After my first topical, I personally think it's harder than an other category on the site. Not a bad idea at all

I would be interested, sounds like a good idear but like, should explane more what it'll be like. and would it ever end and have a winner? I think it's a good thing to do tho.

@Moni, I meant to say TEXT topical. I don't know if that's what you meant or not, but you'd NEVER be able to do weekly audio topical battles.

Same standards for text. I really don't mind. Whatever it takes to stay active

Good shit. I'm looking for about 20 names in about 2-3 days. Just for "interest", not for defo sign up.

I think before beginning a league, we need to bring more interest to the topical section of the site. A lot of people on letsbeef see to shun the section, and that needs to change.

Also, bring in topical battlers from other sites, @EtH

I couldn't give a fuck about the people that shun it. I have Denton hitting me up like "Let's talk about topicals", as if he isn't 2-2 with 2 no shows.

I might hit up Skizzo. I'll try and get some BBE topical battlers on LB in return for me hitting up some people about BBE tournaments or something.

I know I've been ghost lately, but I'd be down. Not gonna lie, I went over to Netcees and was amazed at both the quality of and interest in the topicals over there. I think in order to draw more interest we'd need some new members, though. Honestly when it comes to topicals it's just me, @EtH, @Dono (who barely even does text anymore) and maybe @-James- and @Enfinite. I would love a competitive topical league, but it has to be competitive. We'd need a big, coveted prize and all the new guys to get on board. Of course, it will be difficult, as I could barely put four battles together for a monthly card, but I think the best way to get more people is to get the ball rolling.
