The people of Israel are starting to stand up to their own leadership. It's a shame there's so much religiously-based hatred bred into a lot of the people but allegedly a large amount of the Jewish population are separating themselves for the Zionists and condemning the violence. Hopefully the momentum of that alongside worldwide backlash to the genocide will make a difference.

My friend just came back from Israel, she said the negative energy was intense and she saw children as young as five cheering the bombs.

@ViTRiOL is right, many Israelites do not agree with their own government's actions (analagous to many Americans about the War in Iraq). 1. The problem is that Israel does not have a democratic government and lets the Zionist and extremist religious sects have an inordinate amount of control in a largely secular country.

2. Palestine is not right in this situation either, because they allow Hamas members to also target large civilian populations with missile strike (5 detonated by missile defense system targeted at Tel Aviv).

Yet, Israel is fully aware that Palestine does not have such defenses and has been shamefully air striking Gaza with many civilian casualties...

Basically, both sides are acting like a bunch of assholes to control a piece of land.

I don't think that any of us can have valid opinions one way or the other, because everybody is wrong in this situation.... or at least its a thought.

2. Palestine has responsibility in the situation even if they are not more in the wrong than Israel… clearly Israel is more in the wrong.

3. You should actually read my posts before reacting. I explicitly said that Israel is being incredibly irresponsible and ignorant when attacking a country with no missile defense, because they themselves have such a system (which is why Palestine has lost so many and Israel so few.)

If Israel didn't have a modern missile defense system, there would be many more people dead… that is all I said. At no point did I say Israel was not responsible… they clearly are, but Palestine has an undeniable part in the conflict…. Its not a one sided conflict, even if Israel is more to blame (which in this case it clearly seems they are.)

Plus, don't act like I didn't IM you days ago complaining about Israel's actions and being disturbed by them.
