I think he means the bookies favourite's lol. Brazil Argentina and Germany were favourites from the start. And considering South American teams have such poor defences but World Class attacks it's no surprise at all that a more solid "team" won it.

That being said, I fucking hate Germany and they shouldn't have won, regardless of how predictable it was.

Germany on paper were by an absolute landslide the best. Brazil was the only team ahead of them in the bookies because of the home field advantage. But player for player, Germany is the best in the world right now.
