Santa Claus isn't St. Nicholas, but it was partially based on him. For example, St. Nicholas didn't have elves or live in the North Pole. Because a fictional story is partly based on an actual story doesn't make it true.

btw, I found out when I was told santa claus was known to have a white complexion (they used a different term) & I saw tha blackest nigga in a santa costume walk into ma house, I thought I was relivin a Friday movie..
