Why is EtH banned?
 

Let me make a pre-emptive post. EtH's perma-ban status has been reinforced by me due to his constant lies about the actions of the sites staff, and his disruptive behavior in general.

Understand that once any member of the site recieves a permaban, the staff are entitled to reinforce it any time should we feel it nessicary.

Any fools taken in by his lies, feel free to bitch and moan.


The topical tournament will continue to run as scheduled, so have no fears about that.

Damn. It's hard to not think this is more personal vendetta then anything else. Was EtH detrimental to the site? What was being disrupted by his behavior? This seems kinda booty cheeks to me.

I still fail to see the need for a ban. People lie about shit all the time. People stir shit up constantly. I'm curious to know what he was actually banned for, the vague "lies and disruptive behavior" do not seem ban worthy. We all know you and EtH have personal issues. This feels like a gross abuse of power. Maybe it isn't, but the way you explain it makes it hard to think otherwise.

EtH was perma-banned

EtH was allowed by myself & Pugz to return to the site

EtH has spent the last few days posting lies about the staff who run this site (for free btw).

EtH's permaban is reinforced.

And you think EtH's forum posts about the staff damage the site more than his activity and revitalization of the topical section have done to help it?

If you were to ban me you would make no mention of it like this. Why could'nt you just have not said anything except reffer to someone replacing ETH in running the Topical Tourney and thats it. You already "won" so to speak with the actual Banning so if you truly dont care what people have to say and whatnot than why would you give them a forum to do so? You ban behind closed doors, conferr with the other administrators and move along, but you seem to be showing your personal satisfaction with the whole thing by parading it around which concerns me because I realize this site is very very unfair but when Admin is doing songs and dances over this in a public forum, the integrity factor is plummetting..Seems nonsensical is all....Again im not taking sides but since you opened this up im curious to see your perspective...thanks

I don't think ya'll shoulda banned EtH. But he was going a little too far, taking it to the heart. He said it himself he could've still been a Mod after the warning but then he dropped a Cypher & mad forum threads. So I guess @RULE had to get things under control. A little harsh? Possibly, but Administrators have to RULE (pun intended) with an Iron fist or shit would be Anarchy. Nobody likes to be disciplined but love when shits works in their favor.
