Let's see how 'in tune' the administration is with the community

What are some features you'd like in the next LB? This is all hypothetical and some of the features may or may not be in the new LB. But if enough people request a certain feature, who knows

Track Batlle Section using Track Players which work the same as the battle players where each person can upload their track to 1 single player where people can vote for either side.

1. Capital Punishment for anyone who starts GOAT threads and mentions themselves
2. For RULE to go to the home of anyone who says "I wanna battle you, send 16 pussy or STFU" and rape their cats
3. Anyone who bases skill of their rankings should be made to post a photo of themselves with a hand full of shit (not necessarily human shit, a shit of their general choosing) and a handwritten sign that says "I cry when I masturbate to LB victories" or have all their wins overturned.

Na seriously though, I'd like to see credits get used for a betting style system - not real cash, just the usual LB battle credits - where battlers can pit credits against each other; winner takes the credits. Likewise, observers could stake bets on winners of tourney matches for example, before voting opens. Someone could work out reasonable odds before tournaments begin for favourites etc so people can bet outright also.

This would shine more light on open battles; the voting paradigm would have to be different for booked battles, where maybe 10 voters would be selected to abstain from the betting side and cast votes to ensure that people don't just vote for the person they staked on.

I know the betting idea has been pitched before, but this is how I'd like to see it implemented. I don't think licensing would be an issue given no real money would be exchanging hands. Would just be a lot of work involved I presume.

That credit gambling thing is probably the best idea I've seen yet, that would be so dope. I could finally challenge cats who think they're amazing & just get all their credits.

From what we know the first LB4 will have everything recoded and fixed including crew battles .. When this is done hopefully will be able to add more features. I'd like everyone to take some time and post what they want for LB4 so I make a list and send it to Pugz

More customizable emcee's? Like. Use credits for other things other than battling, open up an in-site store for emcee items or something for people to purchase if they wish. Dont make it cheap so that people who snipe the top 10 list dont get mad that the items are handed out, but make it so people with excess credits have something else to do with it when they dont battle often. Like with what Askari said.

More incentives to vote - Credits should not only be used to bet on battles/tournaments but you should also be able to go as far as to even buy Exclusive member ship with heaps of credits. That, or be able to spend 50 credits and unlock the feature to create a crew or upload a track to your profile.

Display something like "Top Voters" on the homepage, no rewards just the look of it. Maybe the top finalists get a chance for FVC? Idk.

Change the look of audio cyphers submission page, I've never actually uploaded one of these so I'm not sure if it's simply broken but when I try & start an audio cypher it takes me to the "start an audio battle" page lol. If that's broken fix that for LBV4 if not change it.

Revamp & Fix the crew section, Chloro could have been fucking yall up.

Allow the Founder of a crew to assign permissions to members/captains to delete threads in the Crew Forums. Also, allow only 10 threads per page for crew forums so that you don't have to have 90000 threads on the same page.

Start advertising more, I'll be willing to throw in some cash for advertisements on other sites. And if you're reading this go to YouTube videos of freestyle beats where people always battle & copy/paste advertisements there, works for me.

I still think the betting idea is horrible. People complaining about buddy voting or people voting based on name is still prevalent. Adding virtual money into the mix will only further substantiate the prospect of rigged battles. Its just a terrible idea.

I do think we should find more uses for credits earned from voting, but not for betting. Buying emcee items is a safer way to use them.

While I agree the betting system is flawed a lot of people, including me see the emcee avatar as relatively useless. While getting Emcee items could be one feature I do hope others will be put in place.

I'll heavily brainstorm on this, because like you said credits need more functions.

Instead of avatars, possibly your EMCEE could be standing next to your box. Include more clothing options, and facial features. Could be more interesting, possibly make some movement to them. I dunno, think that'd be pretty cool.

For real man...I dont complain seriously at very much cause I'm grateful for most things in life but come on its been like 3 days now and no working recorder. This is the "#1 Battle Rap Website" and the main tool to record an audio battle has not been working, there are no clear or easy to find updates onto the progress or cause of problem for the recorder being down or at least something to ease our minds and ensure us that something is being done to fix it...If someone did post something about it it should be more obvious to find instead of havin to scroll through clutter...I was feelin bad for the heat that the Administration has been receiving lately for not keeping the site up to par but honestly I'm starting to see that alot of the critisim is just and I share the frustration of the others who are feeling slighted. It seems as though the nucleus of the website is rapidly deteriorating while new stuff is being thrown out to us hastily and without any pride being put into it..Maybe slow it down for a minute and get back to the basics guys. I'd rather have the necessary tools perfected and see the quality of the basic elements take a dramatic leap instead of half-assed quanity. It like Mario 3 for the original Nintendo; the graphics and sound are horrible when viewed in todays standards but the gameplay is so phenomenal that it still stands the test of time and blows alot of these crazy graphic fancy games of today away. Simple yet effortlessy perfect. Oil up these hinges guys before they rust the door shut..@NOBLE @puggz @Godbody ....i appreciate your guys site very much and the work you guys put in and I say this with respect, man to man ; just constructive critisism and i hope you guys take it as such...thanks

That is EVERYTHING LB needs, and all we've needed for a long time. We don't need to get everyone's hopes up with an idiotic "V4" rebirth. We just need everyone to believe that we are getting work done.

New features could be added as they are developed after that. I'm sure all of us could do with a weeks downtime to implement some of the ideas and stuff. But I wish we'd stop trying to bring new stuff, when most of the old stuff is broken.

What about an option to split up 16 or 32 line battles in half? Make it more like Rounds, that way the dude who sends first has an opportunity to rebuttal... @RULE @NOBLE @OSKAR

These kind of ideas are all going to be considered once the intial site issues have been fixed.

Im on the fence about the whole "credits Emcee items" idea. On one hand, I vote all the time. So I'd be able to cop mad shit, Lol. Bit it might cheapen the whole experience of actually earning the items (ie. winning tourneys or Top 10 listers). Maybe you should only be able to but basic items. Like shirts, sneakers, hats, sunglasses. All the Chains, Sweaters, watches, earrings, mics or weapons etc shouldn't be for sale...

Btw: I still want a Rick Ross beard option for emcees... Show us Beard Gang members some love, Fuck all these baby faced looking avi's. Lol

To be brutally honest @NOBLE, as much as I see your point about the betting side, nobody gives a fuck about buying emcee items.

I think the betting idea is a good one with solid foundation, but I concede, it's hard to look beyond buddy voting or bias in that scenario without implementing a complex voting paradigm that'd most likely be nightmarish to manage.

How's about upgrading the entire emcee item catalogue? Introduce maybe cars, cribs, general luxury items I suppose that can be purchased with credits.

From there you could award Grand Champ winners a lump sum of credits as a reward, with lesser credit prizes to the runners up to purchase said luxury items. Battling meets gaming, if you will.

Again, battlers could use these credits to pit against each other; winner takes the credits.

I find emcee items still work as a decent incentive for people to win in contests and tournies. The credits can also be used to purchase Exclusive Membership (like someone else suggested) and we can find other things besides emcee items to apply them to, perhaps they can even purchase custom titles if they've accumulated enough credits and if the "too many colours and titles" sentiment allows. But I am pointedly against using them to bet on battles and I don't understand why so many people keep thinking it's a bright idea.
With what I know about how many people in this community still operate, it's not hard at all to see how that would quickly lead to people conspiring to fix battles. And that is something we DON'T need. If we added a rule such as "you can't vote on the same battle that you placed a bet on," that might help...but even still, there'd still be a lot of room for fuckery.
The emcee item catalogue can always be upgraded and we can introduce new items that can ONLY be purchased with the use of credits. I also like your idea of awarding a certain lump sum of credits to GC winners and other tourney winners.

Yeah i find it surprising how much people enjoy the emcee items.

I think they are still a fairly strong incentive.

The Only Thing About Using Credits To "Buy Things" Is There Is Going To Be A Hike In Bullshit Voting Just To Get Credits.

2020 let us get this feature already.
