RULES

Participants shall record themselves spitting theirs verses on camera. It can be with any kind of camera, but keep in mind that the quality of the overall recording will factor into people's judgements. The person sending in each battle will determine whether it is over a beat or acapella. If someone sends to you on a beat, you MUST respond on a beat or face disqualification and auto-loss. Likewise, if someone sends to you spitting acapella, you MUST respond with acapella or face disqualification and auto-loss. There will be a full week between rounds. Verses are written (unless you prefer to freestyle).
Contestants will upload their submission on their YouTube channels, then drop the links into a text battle. This way, LB can vote on it. Winners will be determined by LB voting results, not YouTube comments. Round 1 opens on November 14th 2013 (Only send on or AFTER this date). *Between now and the 14th, all contestants must check in or you may be replaced on the roster. Deadline to send is by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 21st. Deadline to respond is by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 22nd.
Once you've sent, paste the link here or alert me by private message.
The time limits do not include whatever intros or graphical depictions you would like to include in your submission. It only restricts the actual time you spend on your verse.
All participants are encouraged to vote on every battle in this tourney. If you posted and your opponent doesn't post, you'll automatically advance to the next round.

BATTLES

Either left or right may send first. Keep in mind that whoever sends will determine the format of the battle (whether its acapella or on a beat). Whoever opens the private text battle first with their link will be considered the sender. In the event of a double no-show, left will be considered the loser and right will advance.

If we don't get more submissions by the deadline (tonight) I'm cancelling the tourney. 32 sign ups, only 6 submissions and 1 completed battle. This is a waste of my time and effort.
I'll just write back the company and tell them LB ain't ready for their sponsorship.
People complain that we don't have any cash tournaments and when we throw one, they no-show. Smh.

Next time just give me 16 names to send to..save yourself the trouble...this is just a bad look cuz we got a actual sponsor for the event..but it is what it is, every tourney I been in is half no shows so can't say I'm surprised
