AZ ft Kool G Rap - Mental Exclusive

It's sad, this song dropped on September 11th... HipHopDX only has 8 votes on the song and 5 people gave it a 5....You fuck niggas are killin the genre by not supportin the few times people do keep it 100...This shit sound like some 90's shit right here. Pay homage

Kool G owned this track

Godbody 09-20-2013 10:18 AM

idk bruh

AZ kept the scheme for a minute yo

J u s T C 09-20-2013 10:22 AM

Nah Kool G def owned it.

Godbody 09-20-2013 10:34 AM

Kool G Rap's opening bar:

Niggas don't want me to rap dawg, cuz when I rap I raise the standards
I make rappers seek careers in plays like Hamlet

AZ's opening bar:

Yessir, no replica. As real as a hand held heckler. Messiah of Mecca the messenger
Bearer of life breathe breath in ya, that or bring death to ya

Hand held heckler
Messiah Mecca Messenger
Bearer breathe breath bring

I'd say AZ answered Kool G's opening line by showing Kool G he can't fuck with his pen game. Consonance is always nice when done right

At the end of the day it's egotistical bullshit scientific five percenter biblical lore coming out of each of their mouths. Nothing too crazy substance/concept wise

J u s T C 09-20-2013 10:40 AM

Yeah... I don't care. I posted my opinion. no need to deep throat AZ's dick.

Godbody 09-20-2013 10:42 AM

Oh you mean the same way you've been making a GTA 5 thread every 2 days and deep throating a video game?

Fair enough, but you've also been deep throating me in all of my threads. I understand you're bored. Go replay that torture mission as Trevor and pound your meat to it

J u s T C 09-20-2013 10:51 AM

GTA is relevant in 2013. You'll find countless similar threads all across the web.

The same can't be said for AZ on either account. get his dick out ya throat

Godbody 09-20-2013 10:53 AM

AZ is more relevant on a Hip-Hop site than GTA ever will be

Especially considering the fact that AZ dropped a mixtape a week ago and is preparing to drop a new album

Get off GTA dick. This is a rap site B. Go sign up for the forums at IGN if you wanna discuss GTA daily

J u s T C 09-20-2013 10:54 AM

Majority of people here were a million times more hype for GTA V than the next AZ mixtape. you in a minority, deal with it and stop dick riding u silly little twat lol.

J u s T C 09-20-2013 10:56 AM

Most people probably didn't even know he had a tape coming out.

Godbody 09-20-2013 11:03 AM

The tape has been out

It's the album that isn't out yet.

& Who cares what other people know or don't. It's not gonna kill me that, BLNK, for example, didn't know AZ had a mixtape out. The fuck is BLNK, Jay-Z or something? lol

You're not a real Hip-Hop fan if you can't name a handful of AZ, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, MF, or Pharaoh Monche songs IMO

Most of you don't know when anybody on that list is dropping an album/mixtape. Doesn't change the fact that they'll continue to be in the GOAT discussion while you watch from the sidelines jealous of what you'll never become

J u s T C 09-20-2013 11:07 AM

Yeah, we're talking about relevance.

You complain about about this track not being relivant enough in the op

then go on to completely contradict ya self talking about

"who cares if so and so knows about such and such"

Make your mind up

Godbody 09-20-2013 11:10 AM

I never contradicted myself

OP says more people should be aware of good Hip-Hop and support it when it makes itself available for your ears to listen to

Previous post was about comparing the relevance of GTA & AZ, and to sum that up, I could give a fuck whether or not ya'll knew he had an album coming out or not.. In essence I'm saying your opinions don't undo the work of the person that is widely considered the greatest lyricist of our time

Subject: Relevance.

Subject: Relevance.

Godbody 09-20-2013 11:16 AM

OP: The culture has drifted away from the core fundamentals of what makes good Hip-Hop, good Hip-Hop.

Previous argument: AZ > GTA 5, 10 out of 10 times on any Hip-Hop site. & Regardless if he gets your co-sign or anyone else's co-sign.. He'll always be considered one of the GOATs. So who cares if you're waiting on his album or not. Just because you're not doesn't mean TRUE Hip-Hop fans aren't

Anyone that's truly a fan of the genre is on top of when all the good artists drop albums

You niggas are internet pretenders that can't muster up the courage to rap in person. Big difference between ya'll & true fans of the culture
